A software sales executive is needed to fill a position at a leading technology company, with offices in mid-town Manhattan and New Jersey. We need a bright, articulated, and aggressive sales executive to sell a primary suite of software products into the financial industry. The selling will be focused on driving new business by consulting with prospective clients to deliver straight-through processing solutions. Experience in software sales to the financial industry is a major plus.
The sales executive will be responsible for lead generation and follow-up, pipeline management, drafting proposals, solution selling, and negotiating and closing deals. Effectively, the sales executive will manage the sales process end to end and carry a sales quota. The position will report to the Managing Director . Salary is base plus commission, and based on experience.
Requirements:
Job requirements include knowledge of the financial and technology industry, with at least 3-5 years selling on the FINANCIAL software vendor side. The candidate must have familiarity with computer software and terminology. Good communication, written, and presentation skills is also required. Some contacts within the financial industry are a plus.
