Manages overall daily cash management functions including policies and objectives between two locations. Monitors adherence to company regulations, policies and procedures ensuring a strong operation foundation is in place and is being followed such as dual controls, regulatory requirement conformance and audits. Manage and coordinate with staff to assess internal business needs and ensure services are delivered. Position Responsibilities
Bank Account Reconciliation:
¨ Ensure the daily reconciliation of all bank activity is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
¨ Act as the primary point of contact for all of our banking relationships
Wire & Check Disbursements:
¨ Ensure all wire and check activity is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
¨ Ensure that appropriate levels of controls are in place to monitor the wire and check disbursement process.
Anti-Money Laundering:
¨ Manage the daily monitoring of our AML program
¨ Maintain a high level of knowledge within the AML field to facilitate interactions with the Compliance Officer and the Legal Department.
¨ Act as the primary point of contact for our compliance software vendor including pursuing enhancements to facilitate our daily processes.
¨ Attend and contribute to operational, client and regulatory meetings in order to maintain and improve the service provided to clients.
Report Distribution:
¨ Ensure the daily posting of files to our proprietary reporting utilities are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
¨ Work with internal resources to continually monitor programs and identify opportunities for improvement
Oversee a supervisor(s) responsible for the day-to-day direction of the team and its resources in order to ensure the accurate and timely completion of work.
¨ Supervise and monitor the workflow for team members ensuring the fair allocation of work.
¨ Manage the daily workflow within the team to ensure all work is completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
¨ Facilitate the effective flow of work between teams and work with other teams to address issues as they arise.
¨ Ensure that the team is adequately trained in all areas of responsibility and that there is sufficient coverage for all tasks.
¨ Ensure that procedures are kept up to date and are adhered to.
¨ Contribute to department staff planning, including recruitment.
Create an effective working environment through the proper coaching, explanation of work required and contribution to the appraisal process;

Proactively identify and act on opportunities to improve current procedures, to meet the changing requirements of customers. Implement minor improvements and refer major proposals upwards;
¨ Ensure procedures are in place for all tasks and that they are operationally sound, with an emphasis on risk reduction and compliance.
¨ Proactively review existing procedures on an ongoing basis, supporting the drive for continuous improvement. Make suggestions for enhancements where the need arises and implement changes which are approved.
