The Director of Sales is responsible for converting a substantial number of enterprise opportunities into long term customers through a short and efficient sale cycle and by nurturing "C" level relationships. In your role as, Director of Sales, you will be responsible for new customer acquisitions and long-term account management within the territory ensuring growth in all revenue streams.
Applicants require strong B2B technology sales experience, ideally enterprise oriented, within software sales environments and proven sale management experience.
Previous experience selling into the media vertical is an advantage, however we will take into consideration backgrounds with B2B Internet technology with the intellectual capacity and drive to succeed. This is a high profile opportunity with very aggressive base salary and variable compensation structures.

Responsibilities
» Responsible for all sales activities under his\her domain
» Staffs and directs a sales team, provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values
» Drive productivity and efficiency within the sales team and across departments within the organization
» Develop meaningful sales processes including mentoring top quality salespeople
» Oversee daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting. Responsibilities also include working closely with the VP, sales managers, and finance for all planning, budgeting and forecasting activities

Desired Skills
» 4+ years of experience in a sales role in the digital marketing space; 2+ years of successful sales management experience
» Bachelor's degree from a top-tier school, MBA a plus
» A proven track record in successfully prospecting and closing sales within the media vertical
» Passion for social marketing and technology
» Extensive knowledge of enterprise software, SaaS experience preferred
» Exceptional interpersonal skills, including superb written and oral communication skills
» Proven ability to thrive under tight deadlines while successfully juggling a multitude of projects simultaneously
» Extreme level of energy, highly self-motivated, and a passion for success
» A strong and demonstrably successful track record in sales to agencies and CMOs, well connected, and a proven ability to generate, negotiate and close ad sales deals
