Description:        Salt Lake City is  a technology hub that allows people and families to live a quality life style and has a terrific public education system.

 

Responsible for the overall quality of all degrees in the IT College and serve as the spokesperson for the IT College. Will be the public voice of the institution and promotes partnerships and articulates clients' IT degrees to external audiences nationally. Work with external program councils to determine what new degrees to develop and to ensure that existing degrees are kept current and are high quality. The quality and acceptance of degrees is measured by enrollment, retention, graduation, and graduate success (advanced degrees and employer perception).

 

Must possess very strong communications skills, both oral and written and have a strong academic/professional background in IT that commands presence and stature within the IT community. Have a proven track record in product development and external IT affairs.

 

MUST possess a masters degree (with a doctoral degree) preferred in Engineering, IT, computer science, or related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development in Information Technology program areas and a minimum 5 years Industry experience.
