10-15+ years experience managing major IT functions – most preferably Application Development/Support and/or IT Operations or Project/Portfolio management.
Must be both a strategic thinker as well as detail-oriented and extremely organized, with exceptional writing and communication skills.
At least 7-10+ years as a senior manager in a related capacity, with demonstrated ability to manage and mentor large sub-teams, as well as a large breadth of stakeholders in a distributed organization.
· Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior management and key stakeholders
Highly analytical and data-driven, with deep expertise in Microsoft Office Suite – demonstrated excellence with PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.
Ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Must be passionate about The Organization’s mission.
BS, Computer Science, MIS or a related field preferred or equivalent business experience

Responsibilities/Duties:

Acts as a strategic partner to the CIO, Senior IT Leadership peers and business units leads in IT initiative development, management and prioritization of IT solutions.
Evangelizes the value of IT across the organization, assisting business units in defining IT initiatives and preparing business value statements and clear return on investment (ROI) propositions.
Ensures processes and procedures are in place to continuously evaluate the success of major initiatives – from tactical progress, through issue resolution, and risk mitigation. Ensures the timely communications regarding all initiatives to appropriate “interested parties” within the business and IT, keeping the CIO informed of all important issues/concerns/ progress on all initiatives.
Ensures the S&D team functions are in alignment with business strategy and initiatives, holding both the strategic and tactical vision for these functions: IT Business Analysis / IT Systems Subject Matter Expertise, and IT Project Portfolio Management.

Sr. Java Developers/BPM. Required: Lombardi Teamworks (BPMS) to implement the process models using web based application development techniques. Financial Svcs/Trading is preferred but not required.

Specific Technical Knowledge and Experience Required:
§ Strong Java & J2EE programming skills with web based application development experience (JSP, Servlets, XML, AJAX, Style Sheets (CSS), XPath, XQuery, HTML and JavaScript).
§ Experience with Spring, Struts and Tiles frameworks.
§ JMS and Web Services based development and systems integration experience.
§ Strong database skills, including Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, stored procedures.
§ Strong understanding of agile software development methodology; background in object oriented design and analysis.
§ Experience in BPM technologies such as Lombardi, BEA ALBPM, Savvion and Pega.



Specific Technical Knowledge and Experience Desired:

§ Understanding of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
§ Financial industry experience, especially in Fixed Income.
§ Prior business process re-engineering, process improvement experience and exposure to LEAN, Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.

Qualifications (minimum requirements):
College degree in Computing Science or Engineering required. Certifications highly desired.
Minimum 5 years of experience developing enterprise software with Java based Web Development.

Do Not heed to have SharePoint but that is the product that will be used for the documentation repository so they will have an opportunity to learn it on this project

NICE TO HAVE Property and Casualty business experience



The largest part of this role will be reading existing documentation and updating it or creating it in SharePoint

Do Not need to have SharePoint Experience to do this role.

The existing documentation is in Word, Excel, ERWIN/ INFORAMTICA or SQL code

MUST BE ABLE TO do some Data modeling and data mapping as well as read existing data models and data maps that have been previously created. The project is Data Warehouse Assessment> An enterprise Data Warehouse was initiated over one year ago , then put on hold and now restarted. They need someone that is very flexible about their day to day tasks and responsibility .Mat have to take meeting notes. May have to locate owner of documentation and ask questions for clarification. May have to ask technical or non-technical staff for verification of data, assets or resources.

Will have to read existing documentation, data models , forms , data maps, data flows , notes etc which could be or thousands or hundreds of thousands of documents and organize , validate , confirm and update to bring them to their current state. So it may require lots of reading, asking questions , finding the right person to ask questions, remediating , proposing changes , fixes or additions to documents and ultimate a lot of writing and document using the workflow and collaboration tool SharePoint.

WILL NEED TO HAVE superior verbal and written communication skills. Will have to have good people and interpersonal skills, not be afraid to talk , to ask questions, make suggestions and make recommendations
