Description:    This group is responsible for building high volume, real-time communications products for the company's user community. These users rely heavily on the products for information sharing, trading, compliance and contact and workflow management. They are seeking senior software engineers who are adept at working with high performance systems that transfer and process large volume of critical time-sensitive data. The successful candidate must be experienced in developing for and managing real-time, large-scale distributed systems and have in-depth knowledge of network and multi-threaded programming. 

Qualifications: 

- 5+ years of experience in software development on Unix 
- Strong knowledge in C, C++ 
- Strong knowledge in network programming and multi-threading 
- Experience in the design and implementation of high-performance large-scale applications in a distributed environment 
- Experience in managing changes in highly sensitive systems

o server support/administration 
o projects to improve the capability of the infrastructure 
• 40% on user/desktop support 

Essential 
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a desktop/ server support environment. 
• A strong working knowledge of MS Exchange 2000/2003, SQL 2000/2005, Active Directory, TCP/IP & DNS, ISA 200/2004 RRAS & VPN's and IIS. 
• Qualified MCSE 2000 or 2003. 

Desirable 
• Experience of Cisco CCNA and understanding of Cisco routers and PIX firewalls. 
• Knowledge of SCOM, SCCM, NetAPP SAN, replication technologies (SQL, DoubleTake) desirable. 
• Experience in a financial services or equivalent environment and culture. 
• Project management planning experience 

Personal Skills Set 
• Confident and personable to business users 
• Fluent in English (plus Arabic desirable for Bahrain Office) 
• A self-starter in keeping up to date and learning new technologies. Passionate about Technology. 
• Able to operate under own initiative. 
• Proven problem solving skills. 
• Creative and resourceful with an ability to multi-task on a permanent basis, using effective time management skills. 
• Excellent communicator in both written and oral forms.
