Description:    Responsible for the technical, cost, and timing of product development programs. Oversees the development of one or more product lines. Provides leadership on a project from initial concept through production. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Engineering Supervisor responsible for: 

1. Overseeing program execution process to meet timing, budget, technical performance, and product quality requirements. 
2. Develop product specifications. 
3. Review and maintain requirements vs. capabilities document throughout product life cycle. 
4. Manage technical development. 
5. Conduct design and program reviews. 
6. Manage engineering resources. 
7. Lead multifunctional project team(s). 
8. Resolve individual / team personnel conflicts / issues. 
9. Implement supplier strategy and work with team. 
10. Direct overall product testing, set criteria for product test acceptance and review test data. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

Education: Bachelors Degree in Science or Electrical Engineering REQUIRED 
Masters or Ph.D. Degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration PREFERRED. 

Experience: Technical knowledge needed to develop, test and manufacture these products. Technical management skills-budgeting, planning, schedule management, forecasting, tracking and communicating. Ability to lead a product development team and direct the activities of support departments. Ability to provide effective performance and developmental feedback, establish goals and resolve personnel issues. Good oral and technical writing communication skills. Must be able to work in a team environment 
Candidate Must Have : 10-12 years of directly related experience in engineering or equivalent.,Thorough understanding of automotive electronic and/or electromechanical products in the customer domain.
