sharepoint developer 2007 $90-$95K plus bonus NYC

Our client is looking for a
 Microsoft SharePoint 2007 developer/Internet-Intranet Developer who can immediately contribute the development and maintenance of company Website. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the both the Internet/Intranet.  

  

Required Experience

A good candidate would possess the following:

 

 Sharepoint developer with internet/marketing expertise, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and SFDC(Salesforce.com) expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Mathematics/Statistics, Software Engineering, or other technical field
  • Extensive experience with C#
  • 2 - 5 years experience in Microsoft SharePoint 2007 portal technology.  This includes SharePoint administration and SharePoint Workflow
  • 2 years of experience with SQL
  • Extensive experience in building Web solutions using the .NET Framework and Visual Studio 2005
  • Experience in Photoshop
  • Experience working with salesforce.com, web to lead experience or salesforce application exchange experience
  • Possess a good understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Experience with email marketing and/or search engine optimization work
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines

Developer Support Engineer - C++/Java/C#

*Location:
Chicago (Loop), IL

*Overview:
Assist clients that use our SDKs to develop market-data applications.

*Position Description:
This is a full-time role to help support developers who use our SDKs to build applications that subscribe to or publish market-data.  The emphasis is mainly on C++ (on any platform e.g. Windows/Linux/Solaris etc) but ability to support also Java and C# users a definite plus.  You will be supported by the core Engineering team.

You will be a fast learner with a strong C++ background (at least 3 years commercial experience and ideally on more than 1 platform).

*Duties/Responsibilities of Position:
- Assist/advise developers to use our SDKs
- Debug applications and diagnose problems
- Manage technical escalations back to the Engineering team
- Participate in documentation and product review process
- Provides strong technical support to the entire organization
- Create and disseminate technical knowledge via knowledge base, white papers etc
- Work on customer support related projects as assigned
- Work with Engineering to manage fixes / enhancements
- Work with Sales to assist client prospects with development projects
- Interact with all external customers - via phone / email / ticket system / on-site

*REQUIRED Technical/Other Skills:
- 3+ years C++ (experience of templates, STL, multithreading)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

*Preferred Technical/Other Skills
- Network programming/experience with TCP/IP
- Proficiency in Java / C#
- Capital Markets / Market Data
- RDBMS
- Message-Oriented Middleware

Broker Relationship Manager, Greater Los Angeles area

The job is Broker Relations and it is a high level individual contributor’s role, reporting to the Head of Investment Support. Cover all products: Corporate’s, Government’s, Derivatives, Mortgages, Foreign Exchange, Municipals, Liquidity. The job is to work with 10 major Brokers and to help Mitigate Losses & Fails, making sure the transfer of information is efficient and always addresses process improvement. The role is focused from a Settlements standpoint and essentially continues to measure the Brokers’ performances.

 

 

Broker Relationship Manager

$100-110K base, 50% Bonus - $150-165K Total Comp.

 

Job Description:

 

This position serves as the firm’s primary point of contact with Brokers.  This position is responsible for managing Broker relationships, resolving complex problems between the firm, brokers, and/or clients, evaluating service levels, and developing recommendations for new services and/or providers.

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Cover all products
    • Corporate, government, derivatives, mortgages, foreign exchange, municipal, liquidity
  • Meet periodically with major brokers
    • Provide metrics and measurement through report card
    • Communicate issues from brokers on ________ feedback to relevant areas
    • Request and obtain metrics for _____________ and make recommendations for changes to increase efficiency

  • Document brokers updates regarding industry solutions they are utilizing or moving towards – Omgeo CTM, etc.
  • Compare ______fails volume vs. market
    • Mortgages
    • Corporate Bonds
    • Treasuries
    • Swaps confirms o/s in the market vs. _______ volume
  • Work with brokers to ensure adoption of automated interfaces
    • Alert
    • ETC adoption and utilization of fix interfaces
  • Attend broker “round tables” and disseminate information to Securities Operations Management Team
  • Identify training opportunities at the brokers – attend and document the content, usefulness and attendees.  Give feedback to brokers
  • Utilize FMS database globally to identify trends and areas for analysis with specific brokers
  • Monitor all interest claims paid
    • Complete full and detailed analysis of issue and reason for payment
    • Identify changes required for workflow/systems and document recommended changes to technology/business processes
  • Participate in all industry related discussions
    • Become actively involved and document all meetings identifying where _________ is in line with the market and also where efficiencies can be gained  
  • Elevate issues to senior management and trading desk when appropriate
    • Communicate broker status to the trading desk periodically
  • Build and maintain the Securities Operations Global Settlement Guide based on information from the market on settlement processes in foreign countries
  • Publish monthly newsletter on market conditions and interesting facts.

 

competencies:

  • Five or more years of operations and/or related management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of many operations functions within the industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of investment products and securities operations specific to the fixed income industry.
