You will work with the complete Asset Management Cycle, ranging from portfolio management and decision making tools from trading and settlement to back office where the client's product manages the position keeping, fund administration and accounting. Initial focus will be on settlement and back office. The middle office functions including performance measurement and attribution, risk management and compliance may also form part of the projects.

Role and Responsibilities

· You will participate in all aspects of implementations.
· Depending on your area of expertise you will be made responsible for one or more streams in the project.
· Perform the role of mentor to less experienced colleagues.
· Contribute to improving and documenting best practices for implementations in North America
· You will normally be assigned 100% to a project which will normally mean that you will be working ‘full time’ at client sites.
· 70-80% Travel Required

Profile
You will have a number of years of experience in one of the following fields :

· Asset Management - Middle or Back Office
· Consulting or Professional Services within the Asset Management sector
· An implementation role for a software vendor specializing in Asset Management software.
You will have an Upper Second Class degree or better from a top tier university, preferably in Economics, Finance, Engineering or Mathematics.

You will have a proven track record and be able to demonstrate :
· Strong presentation and communication skills.
· Excellent problem solving skills and a solution focused attitude.
· A methodical, hardworking, enthusiastic attitude.
· An ability to work well under pressure.
· Strong Project Management skills.

Interest and enthusiasm to use and learn new software packages.

Detailed knowledge of one or more of the following areas would be desirable :

· Performance Measurement and Attribution
· Settlement Cycles in International Markets
· Investment and Fund Accounting
· Compliance
· Fixed Income
· Equity based products
· Derivatives
· Knowledge of data providers proprietary software
· Relational databases
· Crystal Reports
· Oracle Database Administration
