Proficient in C/C++(5-10yrs), and Windows Development. Duties will include building trade monitoring applications. 
As an Application Developer/Team Lead, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. You will utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques. 

You will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solutions. You will participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. You will also adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Additionally, you will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules. You will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation 

This position will work with existing platforms while creating the next generation server infrastructure. 

Required Skills: 
• C/C++ 
• TCP/IP 
• Knowledge of translating Messages and Protocols 
• Minimum 5 years of Application Development work experience 
• Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills 
• Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures 
• Experience managing a team, assigning priorites and stong project delivery 

Desired Skills: 
• Experience in Financial Trading Industry 
• Experience 3rd Party Communication Protocols 
• C# and .Net Framework 
• Experience with 3rd party libraries

Support the Bank's interface team unit and related interfaces that ensures business continuity. The WMB Developer is responsible for designing, developing new interfaces, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal solutions are being delivered. The WMB Developer will be responsible for a new development, ongoing maintenance and Production support of all Bank's application internal and external interfaces. 

EXPERIENCE: 
Ø 1 or more years experience with IBM Websphere Message Broker using 6.0 and 6.1 using MRMs, Message Sets and Message Definitions, Pub/Sub, HTTP Nodes, Routing Nodes, Message Transformation Nodes, XML/XSLT, Java Compute Node, Java Custom Nodes/Plugins, Message Flow, ESQL, Message Mapping, Java, Broker/Config Manager, EG, MF, CMP, mqsi utilities. 

Ø Experience in Programming Languages: Korn Shell script & SQL 

Ø Experience development toolsets, including the MS Office Suite, Visio, MS Project, TOAD and PVCS Code management. 

Ø Experience in working with Operating systems such as UNIX (AIX), Linux (Suse), Windows 

Ø Experience in working with Databases such as Oracle 9i, 10G, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures. 


SKILLS: 

Excellent communication (oral and written) skills are a must. Computer skills are a must with the following software development tools: 

Ø Database: Oracle 9i / 10G, PL/SQL Stored procedure, 

Ø Application: Websphere Message Broker 6.0 / 6.1, Websphere MQ 6.0 is plus 

Ø Programming languages: Korn shell, Java, XML, 

Ø Operating Systems: Unix (AIX), Linux, Windows, 

Ø MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point. 

Ø During any Interface related production crisis, overtime is expected. 

Ø Some Weekend work is expected due to inability to promote code during normal Banking business hours.
