One of my clients is a global professional services firm that, by year end should be at about 65000 employees worldwide. They would like to hire a manager for full time position focused on the Northeastern region at a salary up to $130000 + bonus. You must have serious experience in the Internet, Media and/or Entertainment areas and be willing to travel 50%.
This is a synopsis of what you will be doing and what they are looking for:
1. works with the principal and other consulting managers to help develop consulting services solution offerings specific to the Internet, Media and Entertainment practice area
2. works with a set of consulting, account and technology delivery teams at existing client organizations on a short-to-mid term basis and influences positioning and orientation
3. provides thought leadership to influence clients in proposals and business development activities to existing, new, and prospective clients
4. leads delivery and implementation of consulting services; and generates pull through technology services revenue leveraging a global delivery model
5. is responsible for recruiting, hiring, developing, and deploying, consultants within the assigned domain practice, client organizations, and/or geography
Desired Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 10-12 years combined consulting, business development, technology management, and/or software services experience in capital markets
2. Extensive large/complex consulting engagement experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
3. Strong understanding of business processes and domain models. Familiarity with business process modeling tools a plus
4. Up to date awareness of the COTS product landscape in domain area a must
General client-facing expectations:
1. Strong results orientation with the ability to positively affect outcomes at C-levels.
2. Must lead consulting teams and facilitate executive and subject matter interviews and other structured information gathering sessions
3. Extreme emphasis on developing and delivering presentations and written materials to communicate to a large, culturally/geographically diverse customer base
4. Effective negotiation and arbitration skills along with the ability to appropriately set customer expectations
5. Infrastucture Delivery experience
6. Sales experience for infrastructure services
