Reporting to Tech Lead based in New Jersey, will be responsible for analysis of existing process helping the team to integrate legacy application with the target Legacy & New Application, as well as improving the existing systems in automation. 

Responding to ad hoc requests for analysis and presentation will be a significant part of the role. 

Monthly and quarterly project deadlines must be met. 

Expected to define potential improvements and execute upon those that are agreed upon. 

Occasional travel may be required. 

Essential: 

REQUIREMENTS 
Analysis and reporting expertise 
Good functional knowledge of Microsoft .Net 3.5, WPF, SQL, Database Design, MS Office Suite, Finance Reporting, 
Attention to detail 
Clear concise communication, both verbal and written 

Preferred: 
Technical development experience 
Finance, Accounting, Banking and Credit Risk Markets experience

Working as a team member of the Global Production Services Technology team, the candidate will be based in New York and focus on daily user support on the Global Stock Loan Applications. 

The candidate will be required to liaise with development, QA and production services teams in other regions, e.g. New York, London, Hong Kong, India as well as with the local business managers in Stock Loan.

• The candidate will be part of a global team. 
• Provide daily system support service to the Global Stock Loan business units. 
• Active participation and initiation of global initiatives. 
• The candidate should be able to deliver effective technical solutions upon request.

• Basic knowledge of the financial service industry (Mandatory) 
• Experience with Stock Loan business (Desired)

• Willing to work flexible hours 
• Prior development experience a plus 

Skills / Experience: 
Education: University Degree in Computing or related field 

Work Experience: Minimum 3-4 years experience in IT 

Technical Skills: • UNIX / Linux Operating Systems 
• Strong knowledge of Unix Shell Scripts and Perl scripting 
• Strong knowledge of SQL (Sybase/SQL Server) 
• Autosys or job scheduling knowledge 
• Knowledge of SDLC concepts 
• Able to understand Object Oriented architectures/technologies 
• Knowledge of ITIL a plus 
• C# .Net a plus 
• Java knowledge a plus 
• Knowledge of vertical markets (Equilend, Loanet) a plus 
• Prior development experience a plus 

Personal Skills: • Communicates clearly and effectively and listens carefully to others 
• Presents a position that’s logical and well thought out 
• Able to manage time and work effectively
