Job Description:

This position will have responsibilities in the area of systems architect, technical lead and project management. The position will be responsible for 1) architecting solutions that integrate the functional applications that support research, trading, portfolio management and securities accounting, 2) providing technical and engineering leadership in all areas of application development, and 3) managing critical projects that cut across these functional areas. Candidates must be able work directly with professional investment staff to collect and interpret requirements and deliver products that meet their needs. The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  

Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze business needs to determine requirements
  • Architect solutions that integrate the functional applications that support research, trading, portfolio management and securities accounting

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 10 years systems development experience using C++ and object-oriented programming

  • Minimum of 5 years systems architect and project management experience
  • Experience in working in a Microsoft environment using Visual Studio
  • Experience developing applications in support of investment management processes
  • Good working knowledge of investment related data and systems
  • Experience in full software development life cycle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate with internal personnel and external systems support vendors

This is a synopsis of what you will be doing and what they are looking for:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for Program-wide infrastructure architecture and strategies, infrastructure standardization and
