REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum 7 years IT application/solution experience within a biotech or pharmaceutical environment with at least 2 years in a management role directing and managing teams, preferably in a highly matrixed organization

Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining lab technology solutions within a fast moving pharmaceutical or biotechnology company .

A Bachelor's degree is required in Information Technology or related field. .

Strong Knowledge of laboratory technology (e.g. Empower, SoftMax, Chromeleon, LabChip, iCE, Analyst QS, UVO, MassLynx, LabWare LIMS, and MODA LIMS. )Systems Development Life Cycle, application development, or systems integration with 3+ years of experience in a regulated lab environment.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide daily application technology leadership and subject matter expertise to the lab domain in planning, delivery and coordination of all IT solution delivery activities. Heavy emphasis is placed on knowledge of business practices that frame IT solution delivery.

Oversee technical application/systems team, serving as the supervisor of the group directly managing team members, and 3rd party suppliers/vendors (where relevant) with responsibility for performance management, talent management and associate development.

Adherence to governance processes, standards and guidelines that effectively balances the needs of the enterprise with the needs of the delivery teams. Commitment to and compliance to company's information security and privacy policies and respective regulations. Ensure appropriate training and awareness programs are in place for associated application team.
