Contract to Hire Role

Sr. Database Administrator is an integral member of the IT team and will be responsible for maintaining all Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 database servers.

Position Responsibilities:
* Maintain multiple production, development and QA SQL-Servers and databases
* Implement and enforce company-wide database security policy
* Implement disaster mitigation/recovery strategy
* Manage backup/recovery strategy for all database servers
* Install, maintain and upgrade RDBMS software as required
* Monitor and address database server performance issues
* Work with analysts/developers on installing and maintaining 3rd-party software packages including helping to identify and resolve performance issues

* Proactively plan for increased capacity and scalability
* Actively track login and security controls for SOX requirements
* Participate in project meetings to understand application and database requirements
* Provide after hours support as required

Experience and Skills Required:
* 5+ years experience as a production DBA in fast-paced SQL 2000/2005 environment.
* A minimum of 2 years experience in the Investment Management, Private Equity or Hedge Fund environment required
* Extensive experience with DTS/SSIS and/or other ETL tool
* BS in Computer Science, MCDBA certified or equivalent experience
* Database administration experience for investment management firms is a huge plus
* Experience with one or more of the following products is a huge plus: Geneva, Portia, Eagle/PACE, CDOSuite

General Skills:
* Excellent documentation and communication skills
* Strong organization and time management skills
* Team-oriented work ethic that includes willingness to help others
* Able to work independently and share results of assigned projects with team
* members
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Initial projects will be based in Dallas, Jacksonville and San Mateo. If local, little initial travel. If outside of the region, must be prepared for 80% travel to those locations. If you are local to these areas, upon completion of the assignment, you be required to travel to 80%.

Person will have both technology and business knowledge and work with large enterprise clients improve their technology and operations utilization. Must be able to work with client technologies as well as C-level staff to evaluate and recommend improvements.

Initial work will involve migrating and integrating within the mortgage lending area of a large servicer.

Senior Change Management Analyst to join our Applications Support team. The qualified individual will manage the Change Management Process using standards, design and implement formal change management processes and procedures for IT applications and infrastructure components. They will also drive adherence to the defined change management processes and where appropriate initiate training to rectify non-conformance
Responsibilities to include:

Using the ITIL/ITSM standards, design and implement formal change management processes and procedures for IT applications and infrastructure components.

Ensure changes to production have been tested, documented, communicated, approved, and successfully implemented.
Manage the Change Approval Process.
Produce and manage a change management calendar, identifying and resolving scheduling and technical conflicts as they arise.
Assess and communicate impacts from changes to the business and technology management.
Establish and chair Change Control Meetings.
Administer the change management database, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.
Produces schedules of requests for change (RFCs) for managing changes to the live infrastructure.
Interrogates the change management database to produce reports for management review of changes, such as change advisory boards (CABs), change planning teams and for users and department management.
Contributes to the development of change management system, documenting requirements for workflows, forms, tasks, reports and metrics.

· Using the ISE ITIL/ITSM standards, design and implement formal change management processes and procedures for IT applications and infrastructure components.
