Required Experience:

• Experience with ORM layers (Torque, Hibernate, iBatis, etc)

• Experience deploying and managing software in both windows and unix environments 
• Experience with JavaScript, including AJAX and JSON (Dojo a plus) 
• Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and will have exceptional writing and communication skills

- Leading storage technology evaluation and selection efforts. 
- Responsible for a technical architecture framework and defines new architectural standards for given platform/technology 
- Leads and participates in multiple projects/programs concurrently. 
- Analyzes emerging technologies and determines how it can be used 
- Budget ownership and management for the storage area 
- Proactively optimizes the total cost of ownership for the platform/technology. 
- Ensures that service expectations and cost levels are aligned to the business needs. 
- Leads the server introduction process for new solutions in the service area 
- Engages with vendor management to ensure that statements of work are in place for new services.

EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications: 
- Minimum of 7+ years of hands on experience with storage and backup I recovery technologies including Hardware & Software (EMC/Network Appliance/Hitachi Data Systems/Sun Storagetek/IBM/or Storageworks) including administration and/or architecture, backup, recovery, and/or data management. 
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree 
- Overall owner of a service area including strategic leadership and roadmap. 
- Architecture, budget and value engineering initiatives for a service area. 
SKILLS: Preferred Skills: 
- Architecting and implementing storage, backup/recovery and/or data management solutions. 
- Designing scalable storage and backup/recovery architectures for critical business systems. 
- Design and deployment of advanced computing and storage technologies, eg server virtualization, storage virtualization, etc. 
- Exposure to Hardware Platforms (UnixNVintel - HP/IBM etc.) and Operating Systems (Windows/Unix/Linux) 

Some combination of the following skills:
