| Description: | Provide support for career planning and personal growth of team members
Plan and direct multiple initiatives that impact multiple departments and systems. Provides work direction and leadership to project team members and is responsible for the quality delivery of all phases of the project life cycle. Actively involved with the creation and execution of the project plan, ensuring successful development and implementation.
Responsibilities:
•Manage multiple concurrent IT projects in different business areas with varying technologies
•Utilize the structured methodology in developing and managing detailed project work plans in order to keep projects on schedule and under budget
•Maximize utilization of resources in a matrixed environment while sharing resources with other project managers
•Manage the project budget, schedule, scope, quality, and risk to achieve business objective
•Analyze project performance to implement corrective actions when necessary
•Actively manage project work plan and resolving project issues
•Monitoring and reporting progress throughout the lifecycle of the project
•Provide proactive project communications to project stakeholders
•Ensure system implementation is conducted with minimal impacts to end-users and all required support activities have been accomplished prior to turning over to production.
Five years experience as a IT project manager.
Bachelor's degree in a business or IT discipline, which could include Computer Science or Business Management.•Providing support for career planning and personal growth of team members
•Must be able to demonstrate expertise in creating Work Break Down Structures, Risk Management techniques, Cost Estimating and other concepts associated with project management methodologies.
•Knowledge of a PM tool, MS Project, NIKU or Primavera
•PMI certification preferred.
