Compression Systems Module Center's Structural Composites Part Family is playing an important role in enabling the success of future engine programs by developing lightweight, high performance fan module components for the JSF and Next Generation Product Family Engines. We currently have an opening for a Part Family Manager. This position reports to the Deputy Engineering Director.

The primary responsibilities of the Part Family Manager are as follows:

- Talent development in the Part Family by assisting in Engineering Standard Work and ACE proficiency assessments and advancements.
- Continuous improvement of Structural Composites Engineering Standard Work by leading teams to identify, prioritize, and execute ESW improvement tasks.
- Support CIPT programs through manpower planning and program staffing decisions.
- Provide technical oversight and management as required for projects supported by the Part Family, ensuring CIPT cost and schedule requirements are met.
- Execute an outsourcing strategy that utilizes external engineering resources where appropriate and simultaneously enables Part Family resources to focus on critical, high-value tasks.
- Work closely with Commodities and Purchasing to insure cost, quality, and delivery requirements are met for composites hardware.
- Reinforce and expand the use of ACE tools within the Part Family.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering; Master's degree with a concentration in composites is preferred.

Experience/Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership, commitment, and performance on complex projects.
- Good understanding of the fundamental engineering processes, including Product Design and Analysis, Design Review, CCB, Engineering Change, Team Center, EVMS, eQN/MRB, and Program Planning.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency Level 3 or 4 in a technical discipline related to composites design, analysis, manufacturing, or testing.

Candidate Must Have :
* Good understanding of the fundamental engineering processes, including Product Design and Analysis, Design Review, CCB, Engineering Change, Team Center, EVMS, eQN/MRB, and Program Planning.
* Proficiency Level 3 or 4 in a technical discipline related to composites design, analysis, manufacturing, or testing.

The support Rep is a proven high-level resource with technical expertise and customer support consulting skills. A consultant in this position has mastered the day-to-day customer support duties, product specialization and queue and crisis management. This level also allows the consultant to expand and grow in their specialty area.

- A college degree or equivalent experience
- Two (2) to four (4) years of IT related experience. Customer Service experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of at least one operating system, such as Windows, Unix, Linux, MF and etc.
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, .Net., J2EE, HTML, Web Services and XML.

Experience Required:
· 5 years solid Cisco experience as well as physical data center work
· Good project management skills, and be capable of prioritizing activities and schedules based on importance

Responsibilities to include:
· Implement activities and report all abnormal events to management
· Work on implementation within Network and Data Center space
· Responsible for maintaining all documentation for data centers.
· Maintain a crucial Change Management role when it comes to Network configurations & Data Center Activity.
· Maintain a broad range of technical and business knowledge
· Work with a team of experts in both fields of Change/Configuration Management as well as Data Center expertise
· Responsible for maintaining numerous processes that will effect all Iinternal and external customers
· Main role is to support the Data Centers as well as support in the network area.
· Dual reporting responsibilities i.e. (IT Networks & Data Center).
· Assign placement of IT hardware and coordinate implementation with facilities.
· Certification of hardware specifications according to computer room power and cabling standards.
· Provide technical support to exchange members and internal staff.
· Establishes trust/credibility, follows through on commitments
· Support plans that anticipate short and long-term technology demands, meet deadlines and deliverable target dates.
· Good project management skills, capable of prioritizing activities and schedules based on importance
· Be available during off hours to answer questions and assist with implementation issues.
· Support testing during hours and weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
