The Professional Affairs Franchise Manager is responsible for various projects for Professional Affairs Department. They will be responsible for writing and processing documents required for Needs Assessment, a comprehensive and substantive document that defines their assigned franchise, its strategic plan and then provides a cascade of information that identifies the activities required to meet the franchise�s strategic objectives.� Such activities will include, but are not limited to, Design Meetings, Medical Education Programs, User Groups and Visiting Surgeon Programs. The Franchise Manager will work intimately with the Vice President, Marketing Group Directors and Marketing Managers from their assigned franchise to develop the content for the Needs Assessment and to define the activities and surgeon consultants required to meet the Franchises Strategic Objectives.� They will also be responsible for work plan development, contract draft development & execution and work activity management & reporting. They will participate as an integral member of the respective marketing team and be the central conduit of information between and the service provider. Additionally, this person is responsible for completing due diligence on agreements which includes determining pertinent contract requirements by complying with all federal requirements governing contractual obligations with its consultant surgeons. Together with their Marketing partners they will own the contract management process for the assigned franchise.

This individual will finalize the negotiation of agreements and orient service providers with their obligations, policies and procedures associated with their agreement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Direct and manages the strategic development of their franchise�s Needs Assessment.
Initiate frequent contacts with the Group Directors, and Marketing Managers to ascertain the strategic vision of the organization, the programs to support the strategies and identification of surgeon consultants to perform the services required to support the defined activities.
Actively participate in the Strategic Business and Marketing Planning activities of the assigned franchise to develop a comprehensive understanding of its strategic direction required for the development of the Needs Assessment.
Develop the documentation required to initiate surgeon consultant agreements

Obtains and maintains a working knowledge of policies, the DPA, CIA, AdvaMed Code and federal regulations with respect to customer related contracts and grants and communicates such policies to the field upon request.

Required Skills

EXPERIENCE:
5 years experience in Contracting, Marketing or Professional Affairs the Medical or related Industry.�
