Significant growth in our compressor business has led to the creation of this position. The position will be focused on preparing technical proposals complete with data sheets, performance curves, lube systems, seal systems and auxiliary systems. Knowledge of compressors is required.
Applicant should have demonstrated knowledge working with detailed specifications supporting projects for the petroleum industry.
Communication skills are critical, as this position will interact with the Sales Channel and the Product Engineering Group to develop proposals specific to our clients needs.
Previous experience with compressor sizing and selection is plus. Experience with gas processes, turbo machinery, and thermodynamics is also a benefit.
Position will require some travel (20%) to support sales channel and clients with technical presentations.
Prior experience in field service supporting compressor commissioning is beneficial.

Position is based in Colorado but will support global markets.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science: Prefer Mechanical Engineering or similar degree with experience in the oil / gas industry. Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with a compressor manufacturer.
- MS Excel(used in sizing /selection of compressors)
- Flexible to work multiple projects at different phases


Chinese or Japanese Language skills are a significant plus.
Relocation allowance is available.

Manage Z Yen survey
Carry out detailed analysis on results and make recommendations for business based on the survey
Elevate issues to senior management and trading desk when appropriate
Communicate broker status to the trading desk periodically
Build and maintain the Securities Operations Global Settlement Guide based on information from the market on settlement processes in foreign countries
Publish monthly newsletter on market conditions and interesting facts.
