candidate will be working in the FXO Technology organization. FXO Technology team provides trading technology to the FX Options business, including pricing, volatility publishing, risk management and downstream feeds to middle and back office. The strategic technology for delivery of these capabilities is Quartz . Quartz is an integrated front-to-back position management, pricing, risk management and sales/trading system for all financial instruments across all GMRT business lines.

The candidate will be required to work in an Agile development environment and be able to provide specific , measurable and accurate estimates on short timescales in an intellectually challenging environment. The candidate will be required to become proficient in the tools and methods of the team in a short space of time and will be expected to make an ongoing contribution to improving the design, performance and auditable quality of the overall solution.

Requirements :
· Excellent problem solving skills.
· Excellent general programming skills. Python knowledge would be a big plus. Primary development would be in Python.
· Strong FX options product knowledge is desirable

A major financial services firm is currently looking for a version control administrator and build engineer. The candidate is in a key position and plays a vital role within the overall SDLC progress. The candidate would be responsible for supporting development teams, managing and maintaining source code repositories, building and packaging software releases, automating the build process, and communicating version control and build activities.

Major Responsibilities:

· Develop and migrate Visual Source Safe (VSS), SubVersion, and PVCS Manager repositories over to Dimension CM

· Develop and implement a strategy automate code deployment using Dimensions-CM.

· Setup up all standards (ex: version control, deployment, security standards) for Dimensions-CM12.2

· Develop and implement process improvements for automated deployments, approvals, and third party integration

· Provide guidance to development team on IDE integration and development methodologies

Daily Duties:

· Administer and maintain Dimension CM version control system repositories

· Design, develop, and maintain automated software build systems and processes

· Maintain and support build and release packages for development and technical teams

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Strong understanding of source control concepts and workflows, source control administration, distributed version control, and the logistics of managing large code repository
Familiar with Version Control Software:
PVCS Manager V8
SubVersion
Visual Source Safe (VSS) V6
Over 1 years of experience using Dimension CM 12
Experience migrating version control repository over to Dimension CM
Experience with scripting (KornShell, Perl, etc)
