Description:    Provide financial support to the GM and staff and support corp controller as required. The successful candidate will provide direct support to a GM. As the financial controller of the business, ensure financial control functions are integrated to optimize cost reduction, satisfy financial requirements, and safeguard assets. This position will provide the opportunity to become an integral part of the production management team with a definite "hands-on" attitude required. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

- Assist in making timely recommendations concerning financial consequences of strategies, programs, and actions. 
- Communicate performance goals throughout the business to all employees as part of an overall education process to drive continuous cost reduction. 
- Supervise 3 hourly employees in the unit. 
- Direct monthly closing and variance analysis of financial results. 
- Provide performance reports pertaining to part cost, period cost, reserves, operating expenses, inventory and capital expenditures. 
- Coordinate all forecasting efforts related to workload/volume, manpower planning and operating expenses for the unit. 
- Take the lead in setting the standards and budget. 
- Join business unit teams in supporting EHS and ACE goals for both operations and office areas. 
- Set a high standard in monitoring and oversight of ethics and control policies to ensure 100% compliance with SOX, etc.. 
Candidate Must Have : BS degree in Finance or Business Management, 3 - 5 years of experience, Strong SAP experience

The candidate will manage a team of Analysts and partner with Collection, Customer Service, Bankruptcy, Finance, Strategy, Loss Forecasting and Recovery managers. 

Must be able to manage and oversee the development of operational reporting and business analytics. 

The candidate will lead the team to provide specific reporting, processes and tools, including staffing models, incentive, call volume, ad hoc, delinquency and loss reporting. 

The manager will be responsible for analyzing and translating the metrics and reporting results with the management team. 

The manager will also be responsible for implementing and measuring change. 

This role requires partnering with key business partners to identify and define business requirements for analytics/reporting and enhancements. 

The candidate will recommend and implement strategies for developing and utilizing technical resources to enable initiatives/projects that predict, improve and measure business success. This requires a full understanding of business objectives and underlying drivers to embed them into data management processes. 

This individual will drive the evaluation of opportunities for process/reporting efficiencies, and partner with Technology to integrate and streamline processes/logic in various reporting tools and databases within the Operations Team. 

Basic Qualifications 
8+ years reporting and analytical experience and 3+ years management experience. 

Minimum Qualifications 

- Must have strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, negotiation, problem solving, leadership, motivation, and teambuilding skills. 
- Must be able to build relationships, present to and interact effectively with all levels of management. 
- Demonstrated experience in identifying business needs and delivering solutions. 
- Demonstrated extensive experience with analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and data management skills. 
- Demonstrated understanding of relational databases and reporting. 
- Strong MS Excel and Access reporting skills. 
- Strong SAS skills. 
- Demonstrated experience with extracting, analyzing and manipulating large amounts of data from complex data sources into multifaceted reports to meet a multitude of customer business needs. 
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks, priorities and reporting deadlines. 
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. 
- Strong work ethic and team player. 

Preferred Skills 
Collections and/or Operational experience, preferably within the auto finance industry
