Rate $450 p/d c2c/Less on a W-2 

This role will be responsible for the analysis and implementation of the necessary systems changes to support the Day 1 PNL solution within the Corporate Banking application in 2010. 

This developer will is one of several necessary to rewrite a Corporate Bank system to support the changes where substantial effort will focus on developing and supporting a Corporate Banking application using Oracle 10g, PL/SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, UNIX and ETL programming 

Main Responsibilites: 

As member of the Corporate Bank project team the candidate will focus delivering the following projects on time to business specification in the first 12 to 18 months: 

• Data model changes to source position data based feeds from upstream systems 
• ETL batch changes to load data sourced from Upstream Trade Source 
• Regionalize ETL batch for LN and NY COB 
• Modeling changes to support Valuation processing changes 

Overall responsibilities will also include : 
• Design data model and develop Oracle 10g PL/SQL programs, interfaces and reports based on business and technical specifications provided by IT Business Analyst or other developers 

• Work effectively with team member in other locations situated globally. 
• Provide 1st line of support for application (web and ETL batch). 
• Participate in all flavors of testing to ensure functional quality and accuracy 
• Mentor / cross-train other team members. 
• Work in an extremely fast and dynamic environment 
• Be able to troubleshoot issues, and any awareness of the ITIL Problem Management processes would be a distinct advantage 

• Communicate well with New York and Singapore team members on both development and support issues 
• Document on delivered functionality/code as required 
• Adhere to set coding standards, procedures and techniques. 
• Work with other IT groups to configure, implement and support production. 
• Involved in full development lifecycle development projects 

• Object-oriented analysis, design and programming (UML a plus) 
• Knowledge of Loans business 
• Business Objects reporting 

Qualifications: 
Essential: 
§ 5+ years of working experience Data modeling 
§ 5+ years of working experience Oracle 9i/10g 
§ 5+ years of working experience PL/SQL and SQL programming 
§ 5+ years of working experience Unix and Unix Shell Scripting 
§ 2+ years of working experience Data Warehousing 
§ 2+ years of working experience XML 

Desirable 
§ Data Warehousing 
§ Business Objects 
§ Web Technologies(J2EE, Java, JSP, Struts, JavaScript, HTML, Stylesheets) 
§ Web services (SOA) 
§ Technical Application Support Experience

Primary responsibility includes maintaining, analyzing and explaining data and models representing the IT Project Portfolio: Book of Work, associated budgets and headcounts. 

The group is responsible for developing and supporting technology solutions used by the Fixed Income business world-wide. 

• 1+ years experience supporting IT PPM function in Financial Industry / Investment bank. 
• Familiarity with Information Technology environment, processes and activities. 
• Advanced Excel skills are critical to this role and a key component: calculations, data analysis, pivots, data aggregation, charting, reports. 

• IT Project Portfolio management. 
• Ability to self-motivate self-manage and meet agreed deadlines for deliverables. 
• Communications, coordination, time management. 
• Ability to develop relationships with internal clients to understand and address their needs. 
• Strong MS Word and Written Presentation Skills - report layouts and formatting. 

Desirable Skills: 
• IT Project Portfolio lifecycle and governance. 
• Experience with MS PowerPoint and MS Access 
• Prior Budget experience: maintain breakdown of budgets, budget transfer requests, etc. 
• Any experience with Expense controls (invoices, T&E claims, etc.) 
• Strong Excel skills
