This position is a 3 month assignment to provide assistance to fill a resource gap on Application Management team. Individual will partner with the creator of several MS Office applications and with a new hire support staff to ensure smooth transition of support, enhancement, and maintenance duties. Individual will assist with resolution of current system issue backlog, provide enhancements to existing systems, and provide knowledge transition to new hire support employee. 

Expectations and Responsibilities: 
1. Enhances and maintains highly complex business systems developed in MS Access in conjunction with Excel (high degree of experience with VBA a must) 

2. Develops systems testing strategies, plans, cases and conditions, monitors testing efforts; tests highly complex business systems in compliance with source and business controls and testing standards. 

3. Enhances and maintains ODBC connections with enterprise reporting warehouse. 

4. Develops understanding of key user group to ensure quality of enhancement deliverables (ensure customer satisfaction). 

Preparation, Training, and Experience: 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
• 3-5 years of directly related work experience; Legal industry experience a plus 
• Detailed knowledge of Data Processing concepts, facilities, technology, and design approaches, project management as well as communications technologies applicable to the financial services world, and to the legal community are particularly valuable. 
• Strong written and oral communication skills (technical and non-technical) 
• Strong project control and organization 
• Strong interpersonal skills and sufficient initiative to work independently with IS, Legal and vendor personnel.
