Description:	Minimum Qualifications  10+ years reporting and analytical experience and 4+ years managerial experience.  6+ years of experience in risk management or similar role in the financial services industry with a mix of business and analytical background.  Knowledge of a broad range of financial products (securities and credit).  Development and implementation experience of various modeling techniques with diversified range of computer and programming skills.  Preferred Skills  Masters degree in quantitative discipline such as finance, math, economics, statistics, physics or engineering.PhD preferred. Description:	RESPONSIBILITIES:  • Manage system/software configurations and troubleshoot environment issues  • Manage production hardware and software resources including coordinating maintenance and outages with infrastructure and business groups  • Review/support tools for environment monitoring and analysis including system health and performance  • Develop and grow environment analysis and presentation for business teams  • Collaborate with development/software testing teams throughout the release process  • Analyze and identify key areas for automation and optimization, including improvements in system performance, processes, and deployments  • Development and maintenance of automated operational checks utilizing Python, Shell (Bash), as well as other scripting languages  DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:  The key is Apache Proxy/Tomcat experience with Python, Perl or Linux scripting withLinux administration  • Strong Python/Perl or Linux Scripting experience required  • Database experience a plus – Oracle/MySQL skills  • Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills, fast learner  • Good working knowledge of Linux & Windows Administration  • Experience in Network/Application troubleshooting  • Apache Proxy/Tomcat and/or Web Services experience preferred  • Experience with Splunk, Nagios, Zend PHP, and APM (application performance monitoring) tools desired  • Experience working with distributed teams located in other offices/time-zones  • Excellent written and oral communication skills  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or other similar concentration or equivalent experience  • Working towards or completion of MS or related degree a plus  • 4+ years experience in Application Support/System administration or other similar technical field preferred.  Email resume in Word to JeffAltman@TheBigGameHunter.us.
