JOB DESCRIPTION:
� Perform and oversee month-end close financial reporting, journal entries, monthly projections and weekly reporting as it relates to inventory adjustments (IA), inventory and related reserves. Providing analysis of key drivers of muti-plant IA and inventory results versus projections/budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maintaining Sarbanes Oxley documentation and participation in annual audits (internal/external)
Determining adequacy of inventory reserves (i.e., Shrink, Revaluation, E&O)
Oversee monthly consolidated inventory projection process, report accuracy versus actual results, identify and implement projection improvement opportunities and efficiencies
Manage closing of Oracle perpetual inventory system monthly, which includes account reconciliations
Participate in the annual strategic plan, standard cost setting and budgeting process
Responsible for Source P&L reporting, establishment of transfer price multiples and resolution of transfer pricing issues with manufacturers and distributors
Ensure accuracy and completeness of select product data loaded into the Global Item Master (GIM)
Responsible for maintaining Sarbanes Oxley documentation and participation in annual audits (internal/external>
Supervise annual year end cost roll exercise in Oracle and related revaluation reporting


Qualifications/Work Experience:
5+ years work experience
Knowledge of monthly financial statement preparation, issuance and analysis
Knowledge of inventory management fundamentals & Ability to identify, recommend and execute process improvements
Familiarity with Transfer Pricing and UPI accounting.
Experience managing project initiatives
Demonstration in managing team in meeting deliverable timelines on consistent basis
Aptitude for identifying and communicating key drivers in reported data and potential issues to management
Experience with Sarbanes Oxley process documentation

Percent Travel Required 10%

Establishment of Human Resources Department for Pre-Opening Hotel.
Train and instruct the management staff in effective recruiting and interviewing techniques using the Human Resources Key Process for both internal applicants and external applicants. The Key Process for recruiting and interviewing will ensure that we hire and retain candidates that are selected using our processes for developing a talent based organization with talented, qualifies, and caring ladies and gentlemen. Conduct interviews for all management positions.

Through the use of the Training and Development Key Process, ensure that employees are trained and certified in their position and developed to their maximum potential using the internal training and development programs. Instruct the Leadership Certification Program. Implementation and monitoring of the hotel wide training programs such as Serve Safe and Responsible Vendor. In addition, consult and offer recommendations to the management team for continued training topics and assist with the development of Learning Topics for the daily Line-up packets. Develop and recommend suggestions for improvement in guest and employee satisfaction scores.

Monitor the employee performance appraisal programs to ensure reviews are timely. Read and analyze evaluations and goals to ensure appraisal comments are appropriate and goals are measurable and achievable. Direct and administer employee relations programs and activities such as anniversary party, holiday party, lightning strikes program, and recognition and service award ceremonies, social functions and general hotel meetings to maintain warm and caring environment that that honors our ladies and gentlemen with respect and dignity.

Develop, implement and administer standards and programs related to the management of all hotel ladies and gentlemen to create sophisticated and unique experiences in a warm, comfortable and distinctive setting. Contribute to the ladies and gentlemen “feeling well”.

Monitor for empowered employees who work in an environment of belonging and purpose with fair and consistent application of our Service Standards.

Ensure compliance with all State and Federal laws as well as regulations and court rulings which pertain to Human Resources by reviewing current management practices, implementing new procedures and communicating verbally and in writing any new requirements.

Provide assistance, guidance and counseling to the General Manager, management staff and line employees in order to maximize the quality and professionalism of the hotel staff by listening and interpreting concerns and objectives and seeking solutions.

Control the administration of wages and benefits to ensure the accurate and equitable application of same, analyzing and applying information retrieved from moderately complex reports, manuals and/or computer systems.

Manage all labor relations activities by administering union contracts and ensuring compliance. Respond to all grievances in writing, negotiate settlements and act as the hotel representative at all arbitrations.

Review and appraise all personnel changes and paperwork for merit and accuracy. Approve all required Human Resource forms such as Personnel Authorizations and Employment Requisitions.

Position Description
Responsibilities of this key role include the following:
� Performs complex accounting duties accurately and on a timely basis, according to generally accepted accounting principles.
� Trains and provide work direction less experienced members of the team, as necessary.
� Coordinates department projects, as necessary.
� Recommends methods and procedures to improve the functioning of the accounting area.
� Works closely with personnel in other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

FINANCIAL TASKS

� Primary signatory for disbursements to ensure validity and accuracy.
� Responsible for the management and reconciliation of the tax accounts. This includes coordination with the SunGard parent company and other taxing authorities to provide information as necessary and address any concerns.
� Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.
� Lead coordination for any audits (internal or external).
� Perform ad hoc projects as necessary.

SYSTEM TASKS
� Maintenance of the Company�s general ledger system.
� Maintenance of the interaction and bi-directional information flow of the Company�s general ledger system with the parent company�s general ledger system.

Position Requirements
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics with Accounting emphasis, as well as a minimum of 5 years of professional experience (Big Four experience preferred). CPA required. Candidates must be detail oriented, possess solid interpersonal abilities as well as strong communications and project management skills. The ability to complete work tasks effectively and efficiently with general or specific guidance is required.
