Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
• Plan, execute and document audits for various operations of the organization, including assessing risks and determining scope of assigned audits 
• Assess business, operating and control risks and make recommendations for improvements of current and proposed systems and operations 
• Conduct and document reviews of financial, technology and operational areas that are complex in nature 
• Evaluate compliance with legal, regulatory and operational policies and procedures 
• Work directly with business owners and auditors to facilitate the preparation of controls documentation 
• Consult with management in determining action items required for resolution of control issues, working directly with senior management as necessary 
• Manage administration for assigned projects including budget, scheduling and correspondence with clients 
• Provide significant input into the annual and periodic risk assessments of business processes, functions, departments, etc. 
• Ensure integration with the Company's Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance programs. Conduct quality assurance reviews and testing of financial and operational areas; investigate and document issues for senior management 
• Lead special projects and investigations, as necessary 

Required Skills: 
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: 
• 5-8 years experience with advanced knowledge of internal / external auditing 
• SEC and GAAP reporting and accounting requirements knowledge 
• Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and/or relevant functional or industry experience 
• Experience auditing or working in an IT environment 
• Sound understanding of the Standards for Professional Practice of Internal Audit of the Institute of Internal Auditors 
• Ability to train and develop junior staff 
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, ACL or similar audit tools 
• Innovative and a self starter, with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and consistently meet established deadlines 
Education/Experience/Professional Certification: 
• Bachelor's degree with concentration in accounting, finance, economics or information technology preferred. 
Advanced education desirable. 
• CPA, CIA, CISA or other professional certifications or pursuit thereof desirable

Enterprise SOA Technology Consultants to join an elite team within our Banking & Financial Services Technology Consulting Practice for global markets. The successful candidate will work closely with customer enterprise architecture teams helping them with IT modernization and simplification initiatives using SOA. The candidates will work with our globally distributed delivery teams providing technology oversight and ownership to customer SOA projects. The candidates will work with BFS domain experts, strategic vendor partners and horizontal practices to develop custom SOA products/solutions that can be proactively taken to market. 

This is a challenging opportunity to work with a strong group of technologists who will contribute to the evolution of the legacy transformation offerings within the largest and fastest growing business unit. The applicants must have a strong academic and professional background and are keen to take their careers to the next level as industry thought leaders. Must be willing to travel more than 75% globally. 

Must-have: 
• Experience as Solution Architect/Technical Consultant architecting, designing and developing complex solutions in BFS domain – Retail banking or Cards & Payments 
• Experience working with a management consulting/Big-5 firm 
• Experience working with CTO/CIO organizations or Enterprise Architecture groups 
• Experience and knowledge of common legacy/mainframe platforms 
• Project experience with at least one IBM, BEA, TIBCO or Microsoft SOA stack 
• Experience with life-cycle software engineering tools such as Rational Software Architect 
• Exposure to service management products such as Actional, SOA Software, etc 
• Exposure to BAM and CEP 

Nice-to-have: 

-Experience working on an enterprise SOA transformation program 
-Application or platform migration/re-engineering experience especially mainframe 
-Experience working with standards organizations such as Oasis, OAG, etc 
- Demonstrable thought-leadership e.g. conference presentations, publications, etc 
- Experience with common core banking products such as Hogan, Temenos, etc 
- Exposure to EA frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman 

Education & Experience: 
- BS/MS in Computer Science from a prestigious university 
- 10+ years of IT industry experience of which at least 5+ years of experience in retail banking or cards/payments domain
