RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide capacity and/or performance recommendations and forecasts. Analyze performance and resource usage data for application systems and infrastructure components. Design, develop and maintain capacity management reports and models. Develop, create, and maintain complex processes, procedures, and documentation. Provide second level problem determination and resolution.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience plus 7 to 10 years of information technology experience. Experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting the capacity requirements of new and revised business application systems and infrastructure components within a z/OS operating environment. Experience developing, maintaining, and publishing capacity models, plans, processes, and reports. Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal). Knowledge of statistical analysis, trending, and reporting. Experience with MICS, MXG, or similar product. MICS is preferred. Experience with two or more of the following: IMS, CICS, DB2, or Websphere Application Server(z/OS). Experience supporting a large multiple LPAR/CEC computing environment. Excellent problem determination and resolution skills. Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint. Experience using z/OS, program, IMS, CICS, or DB2/SQL monitoring tools. SAS programming experience is a plus. Experience administering z/OS Workload Manager (WLM) is a plus. Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm

The job holder uses existing and emerging technology platforms to design, develop and document technically detailed distributed applications.
