RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enterprise Linux engineer designing, implementing and supporting several enterprise applications and systems including:
 
The Linux server computing platform
Solaris server computing platform on x86 hardware
The Puppet configuration management system
Enterprise applications deployed on Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems (RHEL 5.x/6.x and Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.x and 6.x).
Web application environments (Apache/TomCat/Java Spring Framework).
Java development tools, applications, environments and support.
Single Sign On (SSO) solutions - delegated authentication and SAML knowledge desirable.
Version and Source Control systems such as Perforce and Subversion.
Knowledge of Shell, JavaScript, Perl, Python and Ruby scripting
LDAP, Kerberos, HTML, Active Directory
FTP/FTPS/SFTP services (VSFTP, ProFTPd and Tumbleweed).
SMTP mail gateway systems and infrastructure (Postfix). Desirable but not essential:
Proxy infrastructures.
PKI/SSL/TLS knowledge.
Network debugging and troubleshooting with products such as TcpDump and WireShark.
 
EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have at least 7 years practical experience in supporting IT infrastructure systems with a proven track record of at least three years engineering and supporting Linux systems in a heterogeneous, multi geographically located infrastructure. Also required or highly sought after:
Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
High degree of motivation and initiative.
Strong communication skills and ability to learn quickly.
Team player who enjoys coaching and development.
Strong documentation skills.
Relevant IT degree, B.S Computer Science.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux certification.
ITIL Foundation
 
The team is responsible for designing and implementing the Linux operating platform. The group is responsible for the evaluation, certification, engineering and operation of all Linux based corporate systems

Description:   
Support and enhance the firm’s information systems related to PnL, risk, and accounting.
 
Responsibilities
As a member of the Trading Systems Support team, your responsibilities will include:
• Daily monitoring of cash activities and PnL reconciliation
• Resolving position breaks and trade settlement fails
• Monitoring payments and wires
• Monitoring end of day processes
• Managing locate/pre-borrow for U.S. securities
• Maintaining and enhancing the applications and scripts supporting PnL, risk, and accounting systems
 
Qualifications
Their ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field, along with at least three years of relevant experience, preferably in a support role.
 
Additionally, candidates should have:
• Excellent computer programming skills
• Strong knowledge of Python script on Linux
• Strong Linux shell scripting skills in Perl or Bash
• Good experience with Java on Linux
• Basic knowledge of finance, including cash activity and trade settlement mechanisms
• Knowledge of U.S. equities products and markets
• The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• The willingness to take on tasks both big and small
• Strong communication skills and be fluent in English

Manage a team of security professionals that will oversee the establishment, implementation, monitoring and adherence to policies and procedures that support all internal and external security areas of Technology. The Manager will define all facets of Security Risk Management processes and initiatives. The Manager will take the leadership role in identifying and implementing incident response protocols. Acts as the process owner for all ongoing activities that support the protection, confidentiality and integrity of all employee, customer and organizational information in compliance with established security policies. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree with 6+ years of experience OR a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree with 0-4+ years of experience OR a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related degree with 0-2+ years
• Strong interest in power generation/distribution systems
• Six or more years of experience in a chemical, industrial or pharmaceutical facilities electrical design and engineering or equivalent experience
• Good working knowledge of safety system documentation, automation validation, quality assurance, etc.
• Knowledge of process control strategies and systems
• Excellent knowledge of low/medium/high voltage electrical systems including protective relaying, arc fault and short circuit analysis, load studies, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, emergency generators, UPS’s and variable frequency drives
• Strong computer hardware and software skills, proficient in SKM or ETAP software for load flow, short circuit and coordination studies
• Knowledge of relevant national and international standards in the area of electrical distribution low/medium/high voltage (i.e. NEC, IEC, etc.)
• Knowledge of project control skills including project planning, scheduling, cost control and contract development
• Experience in providing field support and participating in check out, commissioning and start-up of process control installations
• Systematic approach to problem definition and solution development
• Ability to work as a member of cross-functional teams and to participate in multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Willingness and ability to travel 20-40% of time when job assignment dictates
