BMC Software. Event and Impact Manager module and Service Impact Manager module exp. in a SAP shop. This will be more of a support role as company rolls out the first wave of SAP. This person will maintain the monitors in all dev, test, training and prod. environments. Provide tool expertise/upgrades. 

The positions I will need to source are specialists in BMC monitoring and modeling technologies (vs remedy/incident/help desk). 

3 roles that cover the following, but in general the more breadth any one person has, the better: 

* BMC Discovery / BMC Event Manager / Service Impact Modeling 
* BMC Performance Management (ProactiveNet/Portal) 
* BMC Transaction Management Response Time / BMC Dashboards...more of a developer background 

Ideally the candidate(s) would have worked in an SAP environment using any/all of these tools. Role would be to maintain monitors in all dev, test, training, prod,...environments, provide tool expertise/upgrades, assist personnel along learning curve on functionally and technical use/capabilities of tool, and light work on new development work if support priorities allow.

MUST HAVE ONSITE-OFFSHORE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE 

This position will provide executive management and oversight to a global QA team that supports multiple LOB's. The candidate is responsible for ensuring exceptional quality in the delivery of testing services by a 3rd party vendor, implementing target processes and tools, and managing the governance and executive oversight to the business technology team. This includes issue escalation; conflict resolution; metric and defect management and reporting; vendor management, staffing, and process design, Scope for this role is Quality Assurance throughout the SDLC, not just traditional testing services, requiring effective influence across reporting lines. Propose solutions and innovative plans on process redesign, tools, measurement and control. Directly manages at least one experienced manager and greater than 50 vendor resources. Exceptional communication, both verbal and in written presentation, is a must. 

In addition to direct team leadership, the role will work with other QA managers to ensure overall organizational delivery, reporting, strategic and financial planning, and implementation. Special projects will be assigned. 

Required Skills:

Java Developer requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field. Experience in financial industry is highly desirable but not must. 

At least 3 years experience in role as a Java programmer, preferably on large application systems, with strict separation between development and production environments. The responsibilities include gathering requirements, working with business analysts, production support and developing new functionality, as well as keeping the applications up and running in high-availability production environment. 

Very experienced in Java based technology and architecture, specification, design, implementation, quality assurance, and deployment. 

Technical Skills: 
3-5 years solid experience in Java. 
Excellent knowledge of Design Patterns and OOD in general. 
2+ years in J2EE development. Working experience with application servers, WebLogic 10.x preferred. 
Understanding of messaging processing with JMS/MQ. Solid experience with XML, XSLT, WebServices SOAP. 
3+ years working with RDBMS, Oracle 10g preferred. Proven experience in Database Technology including DDL development, stored procedures, functions and triggers. 
Knowledge of Hibernate is a big plus 
Knowledge of scripting languages, Perl, Unix shells 
Knowledge of Source Control Systems SVN/CVS, Eclipse IDE and Ant. 
Business Skills: 

Understanding of a concept for major financial products. 
Experience with Equity and Fixed Income applications. Knowledge of equity trade processing and settlements. 
Desirable previous experience working with Financial Services Company within production environment, involving support and development. 
Be able to work with large existing commercial code bases, providing code integration and developing new modules for the vendor products. 

Has to be willing to learn a new technologies and applications. 

Ability to complete complex analysis, design, and programming projects in a timely manner. 

Organizational skills sufficient to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of constantly changing business priorities.
