Description:    REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS: 
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferable). 
Attention to detail. 
Minimum 5 to 10 years’ accounting experience in a financial institution. 
Good knowledge of major financial products (commercial loans, derivatives, money market) and their major applicable GAAP guidance (USGAAP required, IFRS and Japanese GAAP preferred). 
Good knowledge of the accounting of non-accrual loans, assessment of loan impairment and loan loss reserves. 
Experience with the maintenance of charts of accounts: mapping hierarchy, accounts description, accounts utilization, periodic review of account status, creating new accounts, modifying existing accounts and etc. 
Extensive experience with month end, quarter end and fiscal year end closing procedures: completing all current month end manual adjustments at the general Ledger level, reviewing month end manual vouchers from other operations areas, key accounts checking and etc. 
Experience with variance analysis, in particular, the difference between book PL and management PL. 
Good knowledge of reconciliation between General Ledger and applicable sub-ledgers. Ability to identify, address and resolve differences in a timely manner. 
Ability to create testing scenarios and related accounting posting patterns for new products, review progressive testing of subsystem workflow and interface with General Ledger system. 
Experience in SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) Compliance, in particular, the self-assessment on design effectiveness and operations effectiveness. 
Good analytical skills, system skills and excel spreadsheets skills. 
Knowledge in Oracle GL Application and Loan IQ Application is preferable.

Description:    REQUIREMENTS 
Bachelor's degree required (accounting), CPA and/or M.S. Tax preferred., 8+ years of experience in a mid- to large-size corporation or Big Four firm with increasing responsibility for the blend of tax disciplines ' 
Federal, International and Tax Controversy. 
Deep subject matter expertise in Corporate Tax, the Internal Revenue Code and Regulations, FAS 109 (ASC 740), Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and the ability to apply these principles and assist in the formulation of the company's tax strategy 
Familiarity with the calculation of foreign earnings and profits, foreign tax credit planning, UK, Canada, Mexico and Australian tax rules, and APB 23 are also requirements of this position. Finally, the individual must have prior experience directing and motivating a staff of tax professionals. 

Responsible for all areas of Federal and International tax compliance for domestic and foreign subsidiaries. This includes development, evaluation and implementation of policies and procedures that encompass compliance, examinations, tax controversy, tax accounting, tax forecasting, provision maintenance and global tax planning. Initiate process improvements, drive efficiencies, and assists with identification and implementation of tax savings strategies. Directs the two tax professionals.
