Description:    · BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; M.S.Ed. or MBA highly desired 
· 5+ years of recent, hands-on experience developing applications or data systems 
· 2+ years of experience successfully scoping, estimating, and delivering customer-facing applications or IT integration projects 
· Extremely strong development fundamentals, enterprise integration, analytical abilities, and familiarity with common enterprise architectures and software packages; especially in the education and social media space 
· Expertise in several programming languages such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Ruby as well as OO design 
· Strong command of at least one major commercial or open-source RDBMS, OODBMS or big-data management. Experience with a commercial or open-source BI, DW, ETL and/or MDM stack such as Jasper, Talend, R, or SSRS/SSIS preferred 
· Experience with a commercial or open-source CMS/LCMS/VLE/LMS related stack such as Drupal, Alfresco, Solr/Lucene, Moodle, LTI, Common Cartridge, SCORM, etc. 
· Communicate well in both cross-function and dynamic business environment, and be willing and able to take on multiple roles in high-pressure, high-visibility situations

Description:    WILL WORK 4 AM - 12 PM Shift 

1. Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma from an accredited technical school. 
2. Must be able to work the occasional weekend and after hours support. 
3. Working knowledge of networking and telecommunications equipment preferred. 
4. Support projects that evolve as a result of firm-wide technical initiatives. 
5. Maintain and build technical knowledge through continuing education. 
6. Strong knowledge of Windows (XP, Vista, 7) and Office 2003/2007/2010 including Word, Excel, and Power Point. 
7. Being able to work in a team. 
8. Possesses solid project management skills. 
9. Assists in unit testing to verify the system functions to satisfy business requirements. 

Trading Support 
1. 2 to 5 years in Level I/II trade support experience. 
2. Responsible for all operational needs of the trading groups. 
3. Be able to diagnose and solve problems from information given by customers. 
4. Maintain external relationships with counterparts at brokers, vendors, and clearing. 
5. Be ahead of regulatory and other external policy changes that affect trading operations in conjunction with the Compliance Specialist. 
6. Good Communication skills are a must. 
7. Proactively monitor dashboards and chat systems to detect problems and issues that traders are having with the floor trading environment.

Projects may be of enterprise scope, and will include: scope management, change management, project planning, budget and resource planning, cost estimation, tracking and issue resolution. 

Experience: 
· At least 3 years of project management technical project contributor on database development, ETL, Reporting or other backend related work. 
· Proven technical project management skills. 
· Proven ability to manage conflicts taking into consideration all the options and facilitating a resolution that leads to better outcomes for the project. 
· Excellent knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle with experience on large software projects. 
· Experienced in various software estimation techniques and budgeting activities. 
· Experienced in production support, release management, ROI proposals and IT Systems Implementation 
· Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently 
· Knowledgeable (as a BA or PM) in Database design & development, Data warehouse, ODS, Data Migration, ETL and Reporting. 
· Knowledgeable in requirements gathering coupled with abilities in mapping requirements to technical architectures and solutions. 
· Knowledge of PMI standards and software development process. 
· A Plus But Not Required: Knowledge of Agile Development processes, preferably SCRUM 
· Operates effectively, and with a positive attitude, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with High sense of urgency and with ability to drive results 
· Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and have exceptional writing and communication skills 
· Strong presentation skills to all levels of leadership with proven expertise in managing meetings, presentations, and design sessions. Includes coordination of regular project and ad-hoc meetings and working sessions. 
· Risk assessment, negotiation and problem resolution skills 
· Experience building and fostering successful project teams.
