• Highly detail oriented and organized: Candidate can perform functions quickly and accurately, with little supervision required. Candidate must be extremely organized and must be able to manage his/her time to meet project deadlines. 
• Strong written communication skills: Candidate must be able to provide the development and QA Teams with clear, concise written business requirements. 
• Ability to understand new business flows and products quickly: Candidate can grasp new products and flows quickly. 
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple processes: Candidate can manage time sensitive issues, prioritize multiple processes and projects and articulate thought process for decision-making. 
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities: Candidate should be comfortable digging through logs, databases, and performing “hands on” testing to understand the application. 
• Technical capabilities: Candidate must be versed in technical concepts be able to understand implementation details, including working knowledge of relational databases. 
• Ability to work with little supervision, yet be part of a team environment: Candidate can progress overall group objectives and deliverables, while still meeting their personal deliverable deadlines. Candidate must be proactive in working with global team members to achieve goals. 
• Communicate effectively with internal clients: Candidate can discuss and resolve issues with both internal and external counterparties using the client’s language. 
• Bachelors Degree 
• 3+ years Business Analysis experience including writing requirements, use cases and release notes 
• Strong knowledge of front office institutional equity trading from an application standpoint and knowledge of the business flow for post-trade processing 
• An awareness of the need for standards and quality 
• Experience with Microsoft Project and SQL 
• Familiarity with FIX 4.2 messaging

Top Tier financial firm is seeking multiple developers who will be involved in front end (GUI) development for a real-time trading system. This award winning system provides their clients and traders in the firm, with data from which they can trade from. This system was built from the ground up using rich internet application technologies and SOA architecture to ensure future growth of the system. 

In order to succeed in this role you will need strong skills in Flex and experience with frameworks such as cairngorm/parsley. You should be enthusiastic about programming and team-oriented, possessing effective written and verbal communication skills. Work will also include interacting with traders here and overseas, in order to translate business requirements. You can expect to play a major role in both enhancing current system design and developing new systems. 

Required Experience 
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline 
- Experience with enterprise web development participating in the complete product development lifecycle of successful projects 
- Must be well versed in Flex (ActionScript 3.0) libraries. 
- Must possess proven knowledge of Object oriented principles and design patterns. 
- Must be knowledgeable about current RIA technologies, frameworks and tools. 
- Knowledge of Java in particular Spring/Hibernate and previous experience in the financial markets is plus, but not required. Database experience, in particluar, SQL is also a plus.
