· Candidate will be responsible for leading and initiative an innovative approach to reduce Service Delivery cycle-time efforts across IT.
· Excellent Project Management experience is a must.
· Candidate will engineer collaborative requirement sessions, requirement traceability and implement innovative tools and techniques to improve software quality. Candidate must have good technical and project management skill.
· PMP certification is desired.

The successful candidate will serve as a Project Manager for the Architecture Services (AS) department. * AS consists of two areas: Enterprise Architecture and Service Layer. This Project Manager (PM) will manage one or more projects for the Service Layer team in support of the Advantage 1.0 Initiative. * The projects could last from 3-6 months each. * These projects focus on 1) developing services (e.g., Loan Boarding, Loan Activity) for applications in the Initiative or 2) on the creation and adoption of standardized tools for developers working on the Initiative. * The PM will drive and manage the project(s) in terms of: --> Documenting the problems to be addressed --> Defining the end-state to be achieved and deliverables to be produced --> Defining tasks, durations, resources & dependencies in a project plan --> Calculating project budgets and forecasts --> Managing actual expenses --> Creating required status & management reports --> Driving the project(s) to complete deliverables and tasks on-time and within the budget. --> Adhering to the FHLMC project lifecycle process that is appropriate for the specific project: PMLC, SDLC, AM-CP Skill Level: Mgmt/Lead Skills set: * Project Management * System Development Life Cycle * Microsoft Office and Project * Ability to organize high-level problems & objectives, to structure an approach, solution & project plan, and to lead / manage a team through the project plan to successfully achieve the solution. * Visio (desirable) * Previous work experience at FHLMC is highly desirable and recommended. * This includes: --> Understanding of the Single Family and Financial Accounting business processes, data elements and computer applications; --> Working knowledge of FHLMC's current PMLC, SDLC and AM-CP project management and software development processes.
