Compensation: $80K - $95K / Year

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications or related field. 

• A minimum of 5 years previous experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• Knowledge of augmenting facilities from start to finish (DWDM, OADM, MPLS trunking, transport facilities) to support traffic. 

• Telecom network engineering, network technician or provisioning background including experience with the following network topologies: TDM networks 

• IP Based Networks 

• Switch Networks 

• Optical Networks(OC3 to DWDM level of transmission) 

• Data network (from backbone paths to service level) 



• Perform inventory modeling and pathing within Granite application of various local/wide area network encompassing Layers 1 optical, TDM and and layer 2/3 Ethernet based circuits in a 7x24 Internet service provider environment. 

• Experience with design, configuration, implementation, support and operation of Telco and/or Data networks as well as IP address structuring. 

• Ability to Work with various multiple vendors and Commercial Engineering groups to ensure service delivery dates are achieved and all information is captured.
