Description:   

IT Administrator – For world class manufacturer of powertrain systems for automotive and commercial transportation applications.

 

This role seeks candidates with 3+ years of manufacturing environment experience and capable of fulfilling the following primary duties:

Provides customer support by trouble shooting any problems and/or concerns and is responsible for performing all computer maintenance.

Assist with maintaining a complete inventory of all computer equipment and peripherals.

Is responsible for complete configurations of user computers so that it is ready for use as well as upgrades for both software and hardware.

Assigns license numbers to all software/new materials received.

Administering and managing user accounts and group policies within Active Directory

Provides non-critical desktop support for salary and hourly employees. Manages support tickets and ensures that all issues are addressed.

Assist with scheduling and facilitating training programs for software packages. 

Develops and prepares handouts and training material.

Assists with maintaining internal and external network, which includes but not limited to:  supporting network and data transfer issues, configure Cisco switches and other routing devices, Supporting and Configuring Access Points/Ports, WLAN switches and devices, supporting issues at production locations, etc.

Assist with the administration and managing of all servers (File/Print, Exchange, Active Directory/DNS/DHCP, Application, Backup, etc.), which include monitoring, patching, upgrading, and cleaning.

 

Requirements

Technical or Associates Degree or equivalent certifications preferred.

Minimum of 3 years work related experience in a computer environment.

Systems and Analysis experience preferred.
