Document requirements and model, extract, transform and prepare data for use in reporting and analytics applications and solutions. Candidate will have demonstrated experience documenting and implementing BI solutions and be highly proficient in enterprise reporting and application integration techniques and technologies. 

Primary Responsibilities:
 
• Document functional and technical requirements and gain signoff and user acceptance.
 
• Produce functional and technical designs associated with data acquisition, preparation and integration into SAP BW.
 
• Produce functional designs reflecting reporting, analytics and data exploration.
 
• Develop data models, data flows, extractors and transformations for bringing data into the BW Warehouse.
 
• Create, maintain and execute integration, regression and user testing scenarios to ensure delivered and ongoing quality of solutions.
 
• Help define and oversee SDLC governance processes.
 
• Reports to the Manager / Architect of SAP Business Warehouse with additional oversight by the Manager of Business Intelligence.
 

Skills and Education Required:
 
• Bachelor’s degree (B. S. or B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred
 
• Minimum of 7 years experience in business analysis and development of function and technical specifications documents.
 
• Minimum of 5 years experience implementing and delivering Business Intelligence solutions using SAP Business Warehouse, ideally version 7.x.
 
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Manufacturing industry.
 
• Minimum of 3 years experience in SAP ERO Solution, ideally version 6.0.
 
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
 
• Proficiency in Business Objects reporting solutions, including Web Intelligence is considered a plus.
 
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Executives, Senior Leadership, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
 
• Extremely analytical and very competent in data and reporting skills.
 
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
 
• Strong knowledge in data warehousing, data dictionaries, enterprise application integration, relational databases, ETL, SQL, metadata, data flow diagramming, data modeling, and multidimensional analysis.
 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems, Microsoft SharePoint Services and Windows XP.
 
• Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with senior development managers, architects and business analysts.
 
• Must be a self starter, highly dynamic and creative.
 
• The ability to write complex documents that are concise and understood by multiple levels of the organization.

Credit professional to assist with supervising unsecured small business lines, cards, and loans and Retail Services (private label/cobrand cards). 

Will be responsible for providing oversight, monitoring and a credible challenge for these portfolios. Requires a solid knowledge of small business lending credit lifecycle and private label cards, and an ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate with key risk managers in another group. Provide oversight, monitoring and a credible challenge for the consumer loan portfolios. The successful candidate will be an experienced analytics professional, recognized as a subject matter expert in risk management.
 

This position provides leadership and guidance for the business in identifying credit risk issues and developing policies and strategies that address the risks. You will review and approve new or significantly modified products, programs and credit policies, complete a thorough monthly business review of credit performance, identify risks and opportunities in the current business model, challenge risk policies when appropriate, share best practices across the businesses, and influence the businesses to change existing policies or adopt new ones.
 

Basic Qualifications:
 
8+ years of risk experience
 

Candidates must have outstanding leadership potential and the proven ability to build relationships and partner with the business. A broad-based knowledge of the small business/retail cards business and strong communication skills are needed to be effective. He/she must be a respected and capable individual and have the experience, knowledge and judgment to provide advice to credit risk managers.
 

Specifics
 
- A seasoned risk manager with 5+ years of increasing responsibility in consumer card and/or small business, preferably with experience in acquisitions and general analytics
 

- Demonstrated ability to manage effectively in a highly complex matrix organization, develop partnerships with multiple business managers, and provide insight into credit underwriting policy development and risk management strategies
 

- Demonstrated excellence at developing, evaluating, and enhancing credit policies/processes and risk strategies
 

- Demonstrated understanding of the credit life cycle including the underwriting/fulfillment processes through to collection and loss mitigation operations
 

- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and drive decision making through a consensus-building approach
 

- Demonstrated performance in bringing stakeholders together to understand issues and solve problems
 

- Strong conceptual and quantitative problem-solving skills
 

Preferred Skills:
 
- An MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred
