Local resources only   Must be GC holders or US Citizens       Title: Data Analyst II Service Type: Temp     Description Data Analyst II gathers user requirements for data analyses, gathers data from multiple databases and data storehouses, completes analytic reviews, participates in functional design sessions, and assists in interpretation/articulation of process or policy implications resulting from the analyses. The candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Access and Excel; proficiency querying databases via SAS highly desirable, but not required. Details about this job: here are some more specifics: - Developing/changing/updating management reporting from Access and other databases - Responding to data ad-hoc queries - Summarizing and sorting data - Preparing summary presentations in PPT - Drafting memos or process protocols - Documentation of data collection and reporting process - Process re-engineering and developing process maps - Leading analytic projects cutting across multiple areas of the company    *I must know the following*  Ability to document business processes - 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert)  Ability to multi-task - 5 (Expert) of 5 (Expert)  Ability to translate high level business requirements into functional and system requirements - 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert)  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert)  Professional certification(s) desired Yes  Strong analytical skills - 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert)  Job Skills: IT Ability to perform basic database querying - 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert)  Ability to translate high level business requirements into data flow diagrams - 3 (Moderately Strong) of 5 (Expert)  Strong knowledge of business process modeling technologies - 2 (Limited Experience) of 5 (Expert)
