Description: Define the technology direction for the Company and manage a team of approximately 70 people in both DC and offshore to execute that technology vision and plan. Functions under you will include software architecture, design, engineering, IT and network operations. Reports to the CEO and works closely with the executive team members from the Company’s various functional departments. Define a technology strategy that establishes the firm in the highest growth segments of the US Health 2.0 industry;
Identify and implement the latest in technology tools and methods for incorporation in products and platform;
Communicate the Company’s technology strategy to clients, investors, staff, partners, and stakeholders;
Implement the technology plan through the management of software architecture, design, engineering, IT and network operations;
Create and manage enchanting seamless and flawless end user experiences;
Maintain and direct an IT security plan, protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Company’s data and infrastructure;
Build and manage the technology budget and vendor relationships.
Requirements
Hands-on technology leadership in an entrepreneurial/ early stage health IT company DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR RESUME WITHOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
Deep technology experience in health and/ or mobile applications and services;
An ability to define a Health 2.0 strategy and technological position in the rapidly changing health care industry;
A degree (preferably Masters) in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a top university;
A team builder;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong organizational skills aligning a team behind both a long term strategy and near term plans.
