Make and develop contact with existing and potential customers regarding use of company products and services.
Analyze existing and anticipated customer requirements and promote consideration of company products and services to fill such requirements.
Participate in the preparation of sales plans, business plans and product development plans.
Conduct sales presentations and participate in industry trade shows.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales records.
Maintain technical proficiency, competitive knowledge and industry trends.
Responsible for setting the “win” strategy on all jobs.
Work closely with Product Line Management to be kept informed of new products and other information of interest to customers.
Provide constructive and meaningful intelligence on the competition, customer requirements, market trends and product features to the appropriate organization.
Provide accurate and timely forecasts to management.
To be responsible for Customer Satisfaction of the named accounts through the whole Sales Cycle, from marketing, sales, delivery, installation & commissioning, invoicing and collection.
To use the tools available, such as Sales Force and MFG, to provide business information in support of sales activities.
To manage “cross-functional” activities involved in the sales cycle such as pre-sales, services, customer support and finance.

Qualifications
Experience in Sales and Account Management in the Telecommunications Industry.
Understanding of how an Operator works, including what drives customer satisfaction.
University Degree in Engineering, Science or similar technical field an advantage.
At least 5 years successful Sales experience in Telecommunications. Microwave transmission experiences an advantage.
Self starter / self motivated

Description: Develop, enhance and support Mortgage and Asset Backed Securities analytics (library and application) used by traders, risk managers, research and other business functions. Securities covered include RMBS, CMBS, ABS, CDO and their credit derivatives.

Skills required
• 3+ years working with fixed Income analytics, mortgage specific experience a strong plus
• Strong C++ programming experience, Linux environment a strong plus
• Familiarity with Intex subroutines a strong plus
• Ability to write scripts such as Unix shell, organized Python development experience a strong plus
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to think creatively
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self motivated, ability to handle tight deadline
• Comfortable interacting with non-technical personnel (traders and research analysts)

This is a software development role. We are looking for an expert software engineer/architect to work primarily on building the firms next generation Mortgage Trading, Sales and Risk Management systems. Some maintenance of existing systems will be necessary for the medium term (1-3 years).

Candidate Requirements:
The candidate:
- Must possess expert C++ software development skills;
- Have an advanced degree in a mathematical, computer science or engineering field;
- Have graduated from a top university;
- Be a “hands on” coder;
- Be able to solve novel organizational problems - in code;
- Be able to work with a team of like-minded high-caliber developers;
- Must possess solid communication skills.

The candidate should be a self-starter who enjoys programming and who has successfully delivered significant enterprise-scale projects to end-users previously.

Additional information:
Previous experience in building software for any area of financial trading, especially mortgages, is an advantage, but is not a requirement.
