You will use your in depth knowledge of networking and security to protect products from malicious attacks. You are expected to understand the latest threats and be able to recommend the needed protections to a large-scale, dynamic environment.  Responsibilities:  - Evaluate the client's network security posture.  - Assess configurations on a wide range of network vendor equipment- Juniper, Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Bluecoat, etc.  - Provide analysis and recommendations to improve the company's overall network security  - Perform security reviews of network equipment and the systems/methods that manage them.  Qualifications:  - Previous experience performing network level penetration tests on network infrastructure devices and the systems that manage these devices.  - Experience with packet crafting and protocol fuzzing - Scapy, etc.  - Detailed knowledge of the OSI Model and TCP/IP protocol stack  - Detailed knowledge of network administration protocols and implementations - RADIUS, TACACS/+, 802.1x, SNMP, etc.  - Detailed knowledge of network layer security mechanisms and their weaknesses.  - Knowledge of network routing and security protocols and implementations BGP, OSPF, VPN, IPSEC, VLANS, MPLS.  - Perl, Python, unix/windows shell scripting  - BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience  - At least 5 years of experience in a network security or penetration role in organizations with large networks  - Strong experience with securing UNIX or Windows based systems.  Email resume in Word to TheBigGameHunter@cisny.com.
