C# .NET, SQL RDMS Oracle. General business experience and ability to quickly map business processes to technology solutions

The Developer will work as part of the Field Services Development team to develop software solutions for the application portfolio in the C# .NET Language. The specific projects slated for this requisition involve a suite of Smartphone-based productivity applications for US Field Sales Organization.

KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION: Bachelor Degee in computer science, business or related field required. JOB EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years in Information Technology. Proven technical skills using any of the following development technologies – C# .NET, Oracle. Experience with complex query development using SQL. Participation in full project lifecycle implementations.

Objective C/iPhone Experience A MUST HAVE!!!

Willingness to perform production support duties related to application development" to the requirements for the position. SKILLS / COMPETENCIES: Must possess strong programming and analytical skills. Proficiency in structured query language. Database development experience with open database connectivity (ODBC, SQL). Experience with C# .NET. Working knowledge of application development tools. Able to work in an Agile-based Development methodology and adapt and respond quickly to changing situations. Strong decision making abilities and problem resolution skills. Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written with proven ability to effectively communicate to all management levels.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
" Install, configure, administer and manage Oracle E-Business applications-11.5.10/R12
" Manage the production databases instances
" Participate in performance monitoring and database and SQL tuning
" Backup and Restore database to the desired level of business requirement.
" Participate in the planning, design and usage of production database data resources.
" Identify issues related to Oracle database software, log these with Oracle GSC and resolve them with coordination from Oracle GSC.
" Install various components of database related software and configure it.
" Upgrade databases (when needed) to the desired level.
" Document benchmarks and procedures needed to optimize performance. Monitor that all guidelines are followed
" Provide input on any design decisions for interfacing or integrating databases
" Work with the configuration manager to determine change control and impact analysis for the databases.
" Monitor and manage implementation of Oracle security patches and required Oracle operating system maintenance
" Monitor database growth sizing trends and develop capacity planning and data archival strategies
" Plan and execute Oracle level security based audits
" Plan disaster recovery and execution activities
" May Provide 24 X 7 on-call support
Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
" A Bachelor of Science degree in a technical related field or equivalent combination of technical skills and experience (in depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite infrastructure a strong plus)
" Extensive experience in Database Administration knowledge preferably with RAC experience
" Understanding of E-Business Suite Security architecture implementation

TECHNICAL and INTERPERSONAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
" Strong understanding of computer operations, systems, and procedures
" Full life-cycle project experience
" Proficiency in Database Administration required
" Familiarity with AIX Operating System administration
" Familiarity with E-Business Suite architecture and development with Purchasing/SSW modules
" Familiarity with Unix scripting
" Strong verbal/written communication and analytical skills.
" Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
