Initial work in Nashville, then must be open to Road Warrior travel
Providing pre-sales, post sales and implementation services for clients
Providing senior technical leadership through all project stages for small and large scale desktop management deployments, migrations, virtualization and core infrastructure deployment utilizing the latest Microsoft technologies

Requirements:
Windows desktop deployment, migration assessment, design & implementation.
Architect Team Lead with experience in the following:
• Consultancy, Vendor or large Enterprise experience
• The required experience is expected to be with large/Enterprise customer engagement:
o Experience with Citrix
o Experience with SCCM/SMS and SCOM/MOM, including assessment, design, pilot upgrades/implementations
o Knowledge of application virtualization solutions such as Microsoft Application Virtualization (SoftGrid/App-V) or Microsoft Enterprise Desktop (Med-V).
o Experience with automated deployment methodologies (e.g., ZTI) and application packaging / distribution
o Proficiency with scripting languages, multiple packaging / deployment applications, and distribution methods
o Experience with MS application compatibility toolkit (ACT 5) and similar Vista and/or Windows 7 tools such as ChangeBase.
o Windows7/Vista Image Deployment
o Business Desktop Deployment (BDD 2007)
• And/or
o Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010
• MS Windows Server 2003/2008
• Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) experience required
• Knowledge of MS security (Patch Management)
• Experience with Altiris or LANDesk would be a plus
• Active Directory and Exchange experience would be a plus
• Novell experience a plus

DURATION: 20 weeks
Project Overview: The project is a marketing transformation program that provides new tools (systems), processes, and procedures to enable xxxx to become the best in class retailer for marketing activities. Senior Developers are needed to help build the software tools that are required to complete this transformation.

Required Skills/Experience
· Demonstrated experience in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle or similar methodology – minimum 5 years.
· Demonstrated experience in web-based solutions, using Java on IBM or Microsoft platforms – minimum 5 years.
· Demonstrated experience in web services and Service Oriented Architecture-based solutions.
· Demonstrated experience in web database technologies, SQL Server or DB2 preferred.
· Experienced in working with offshore project resources.
· Proven verbal and written communications skills.
· Proven ability to identify and manage project issues to resolution.
· Proven ability to work with Project Manager to assist on project plan creation and ongoing status updates for design/develop/test/implement project stages.

· Development experience with Business Intelligence tools and databases such as Microstrategy and Teradata highly desirable.
· Ability to lead a team consisting of other developers highly desirable.


Daily Responsibilities
· Guide project teams through the development phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle.
· Identify technical issues, develop and gain approval for proposed solutions, and schedule them into the project timeline for resolution.
· Track technical progress against plan and make adjustments wherever necessary.
