Performs competitive analyses to identify partnering options and does support open innovation approaches for the assigned R&D function/indication. Manage multiple interfaces and acts as a key point of contact to guide and evaluate the external partnering requests and scouting activities and drives the decision to partner in close contact with the R&D function/indication and Business Development and Licensing.
Oversee the portfolio of partnerships, and further develops the partnering portfolio of a function/indication towards defined goals (achievement of milestones and pipeline contributions) along the principles of alliance management excellence and corporate compliance and plans and tracks the function/indication partnering budget.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement partnering and Open Innovation strategy jointly with the respective assigned R&D function/indication and the Business Units
• Identify the key targets for partnerships/alliances and define a tier prioritization for the portfolio(s)
• Manage multiple interfaces and coordinate tactics for scouting and scientific evaluation of the best opportunities based on defined valuation metrics that can meet technology/product need
• Pro-actively seek the right expertise and R&D portfolio managers to assess new opportunities towards an integrated R&D approach
• Identify the most added value partner options in close cooperation with the respective R&D function/indication and in alignment with the integrated R&D strategy, the key innovation networks and open innovation approaches
• Ensure timely implementation of partnering portfolio according to the tier prioritization. Pro-actively identify gaps and/or pitfalls and identify solutions
• Oversee the partnering portfolio and further develop the portfolio of the respective R&D function/indication to meet R&D targets and technology gaps
• Collaborate to major strategic alliance negotiations together with legal, BD&L provide overall oversight for advisory board meetings of functions
• Implement and further develop excellence in Alliance management and establish trustful relationship to both internal stakeholders and external partners Planning and tracking of function/indication(s) partnering budget and ensure timely reporting to the R&D function/indications and leadership teams
• Present partnering activities of function/indication in management meetings and at external conferences.

Roles & Responsibilities Teamcenter System administration
• Install and configure Teamcenter (all layers, all modules, and interfaces & integrations, as needed) for all environments: development, QA & Production.
• Perform tests for environment integrity and performance.
• Package & deploy custom codes and assist various project teams during their solution validation (unit, system, and user acceptance testing)
• Continuously improve and optimize system architectural elements, such as FMS\FSC, Enterprise servers & pool managers, web servers, distribution, clients, translations servers, etc. for enhanced performance and scalability.
• Act as Level 3 Teamcenter Expert to resolve key systemic production issues sent from application support team (Level 2 & 1). Off-business hours involvement is often required for urgent production systemic issue, and deploying system changes.
• Monitor system regularly; ensure that the Teamcenter services & automated scripts scheduled on the server machines are properly running,
• Create and develop scripts or 3rd party solutions to enable effective system health monitoring.
• Ensuring that the QTP script in place for tracking Teamcenter PROD instance availability shows good metrics on availability.
• Perform Teamcenter system administrator activities, such as removing process & data locks,
• Be a part of IM team, and co-ordinate directly with different IM support teams (e.g. DBA team, JBoss team) to ensure that all the environments are running.
Teamcenter Build Administration
• Build administrator resources will also be responsible for maintaining source code & system configuration, and will be required to provide code quality checks against coding standards and architecture standards.
• Own designed system to manage all custom codes delivered by various project development teams.
• Provide guidance to teams and set rules to maintain full controllership of the custom codes. (Included in the scope, but limited, are BMIDE templates, ACL, Workflows, Organizations, Preferences, & any other Teamcenter configuration elements)
• Create tags & branches for different environments on a daily basis submitted by the developers.
• Communicate to the System administration & deployment team with all details for them to compile and deploy the code libraries in the respective environment.
• Track Changes Requests submitted by various project teams; assist IM teams in reviewing Change Request, and advise about the short & long term impacts of Change Requests; test & demonstrate potential impacts, when requested.
• Perform regular code reviews & advise developers, as needed.
• Perform BMIDE changes in different environments, on needed.
• Maintain the controllership of the master codes, templates, etc. for all environments.
Generic Managerial Skills • Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good Analytical skill, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
