The Group Product Manager manages two or more product categories (product category size, complexity, and/or strategic importance to business is a factor). The individual will lead a team responsible for driving product and/or marketing strategies and programs consistent with overall business objectives in one segment, utilizing traditional and innovative marketing/product approaches, tools and methodologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops product and/or marketing strategies within the product line and marketing function.
Develops and executes portfolio product/marketing strategies to achieve stated revenue, profitability and market share objectives.
Works with Business Intelligence function to evaluate trends in assigned segments or new, but related, markets to determine segment penetration opportunities and strategies.
Works with outside agencies/organizations to benchmark marketing program offerings and bring best demonstrated practices in-house.
Establishes consistent positioning/branding image throughout product lines, promotional materials and events.
Drives the product/marketing message through all communication channels by partnering with internal and external communication resources and functions.
Collaborates with field sales management, consulting surgeons and patients to validate, deliver and evaluate marketing strategies and programs.
Drives business initiatives through direct reports.
Develops staff directly.
Manages Product/Marketing staff, as required and assigned.

This position is primarily responsible for the preparation and review of income tax provisions. This person will be responsible for the following: review of income tax related information, filing and creation of statements; ensure compliance with all federal, state and local tax laws. The management of staff in accuracy, submission of all 1042 and 1099 returns and response to all government tax notices.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Review income tax information, FAS 109 tax provision and all tax returns
• Manage all tax risks, assess audits and respond to all tax notices
• Manage all staff and create reports for HQ on tax information (Income)
• Complete all special projects as requested

*Items to be mentioned include sales volume, cash, assets, capital expenditures, value of purchases, advertising expenditures, inventory value, manufacturing costs or values, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll costs, credit authorizations as well as others not mentioned

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirements: Key Competencies: Please select 4 or more required competencies.
• B.A. Accounting
• CPA preferred

• At least 10 years experience, 5 preferably in a big public firm
• Management of staff
• Self-Creation (Management) of income tax returns (not outsourcing of them to firm)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Individual tasks, duties and responsibilities of the position
• Responsible for day to day Compensation and Benefits process improvement
• Administers and improves Merit Pay and Incentive-Based Pay Programs
• Leads the performance management process including annual employee appraisal program
• Researches and assesses the market competitiveness of existing pay structures, incentive and reward programs and employee benefit programs
• Leads the company’s promotion process
• Researches and creates innovative reward and recognition programs
• Responsible for improving benefits communication to include the distribution of annual benefits statements
• Develops compensation and benefits policies and best practice guidelines
• Prepares, collects and organizes data for benefit plan audits
• Establishes, negotiates and maintains contracts with vendors as it relates to benefits administration and consulting
• Ensures compliance with ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, and SPD’s
• Leads the company’s annual open enrollment process
• Periodically audits Compensation and Benefits Program to determine program and practice effectiveness
• Designs and implements new Employee Benefit Programs

Requirements

· High level of expertise in a variety of programming languages, including C/C++, Java, and scripting languages.
· Familiarity with database systems and languages, in particular Oracle and SQL.
