Description:    This position will be responsible for the team that maintains Production Technology Support systems for this firm. Responsible for ensuring that they meet uptime SLA’s and build and maintain a resilient, highly available, and reproducible environment. Will be part of the senior technology leadership team and as such the individual is expected to create a high-performing environment and help drive teams to meet their business and strategic goals. 
Responsibilities: 
• Build the vision and direction for the Systems Engineering team that ensures both technical and organizational scalability 
• Plan, design, and implement monitoring tools, exploiting emerging technologies to provide compelling solutions 
• Assist with evaluating software products and technologies and providing recommendations regarding selection and adoption 
• Manage multiple projects 
• Lead meetings 
• Draft and submit budget proposals 
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. 
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members and contractors 

Basic Qualifications: 
• 6+ years of relevant experience with a broad technical background, including experience with site-reliability and industry standard IT management architecture and best practices 
• Experience managing a large scale Production Technology Support Function 
• Experience designing infrastructures and practices that result in highly reliable and scalable services 
• Applied experience monitoring tools, configuration management tools, and their practical application 
• Real implementation experience with technologies such as such as Linux, EC2 and other monitoring tools in a production support environment 
Preferred Qualifications: 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field; 
• Experience working in a continuous delivery/continuous integration environment 
• Proven record building collaborative relationships with stakeholders across many functions, and managing multiple projects at real-time speed 
• Strong communication skills 
• Ability to manage multiple work-streams and prioritize work

Description:    Coordinate and facilitate the activities of multi-discipline internal and external teams to ensure that the right software is delivered to the right environments at the right time. Facilitate sessions with business, application, testing, infrastructure, operations area managers, leads and staff. The Release Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the change management system correctly reflects all information made available by the vendor via their change management system (and vice versa). The Release Manager will be responsible for the creation of the out-year release plan for the financial system and the application of periodic updates as necessary, 

Perform the following: 
• Run the environment management and coordination meeting. 
• Run the Financial Management System defect meeting. 
• Provide support to Business Analysts for project related RM’s. Assist the business teams by helping ensure that collections of identified RM's are packaged appropriately by the vendor. The Release Manager will keep abreast of changes to these sets of RM's and escalate to the vendor and notify the business analyst of developments. 
• RM Policing The Release Manager will monitor RM's that have aged in certain states (e.g., pending approval, submitted,. implemented, etc.), 
• Ensuring the defect tracking tool and our external vendors tool remain in sync. 
• Publication of defect rates/ throughput: 


Minimum Qualification Requirements 

A university degree 
Excel 
• 10 or more years of experience with a large, complex, software implementation in a lead test, development or management role. 
• Experience working with a major ERP package (e.g., Peoplesoft, SAP, Siebel, etc.) 
• Experience with at least two (2) full SDLC implementations. 

Well-spoken 

Preferred Skills 

• Ability to design defect reports from standard incident tracking tools (e.g., Remedy software or Clearquest) (A PLUS).
