Design and deployment of new trading platforms and analytics tools in cooperation with traders and quantitative analysts

We are seeking outstanding graduates (BS, MS, and Ph.D.) in CS from top-tier universities. Candidates must be excellent programmers with a sound understanding of systems, programming paradigms, and software engineering practices. They will ideally have prior experience with nontrivial software projects in an academic or industry setting. They must have software engineering experience under Unix and/or Windows NT, preferably in building distributed or client/server real-time, mission-critical systems. We are specifically seeking experience with C/C++ and Java, as well as Perl, Python, and other scripting languages. Candidates should have a 3.5+ GPA and 700+ on their quantitative scores.

Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, extraordinary communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and an exceptional sensitivity to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will have up to two years’ intensive general experience with an outstanding academic record (e.g., excellent standardized test scores and GPA from a top-tier school), and a high level of computer literacy. Direct prior experience is not required but some demonstrated interest in and exposure to financial markets is a decided advantage.

Experienced Attorney to work closely with the Firm’s compliance professionals and Chief Compliance Officer. Responsibilities will include advising the Firm’s business managers on securities laws, regulatory requirements, and structuring issues. Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 is essential. Familiarity with foreign and international regulation of securities is a strong plus.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of relevant securities law experience at an asset management firm, investment adviser, hedge fund manager, or law firm. Exceptionally strong analytical abilities, excellent communication and drafting skills, an obsessive regard for detail, and the ability to identify and analyze regulatory and compliance issues in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment are required.

Perform internal audits within the Bank's Americas Division over all Banking Areas. Document risks and evaluate the adequacy of controls; provide written and oral feedback regarding the results of these reviews. Document all work performed in detailed audit workpapers. Liaise with Audit Management to provide guidance throughout 
the year. Tracking and follow-up on outstanding audit and regulatory 
issues. 

EXPERIENCE: 4-7 years of internal audit experience with a Bank or 
related Financial Institution. Strong knowledge of banking products and processes such as loans, letter of credit, EFT, etc. Strong knowledge of bank regulations and compliance. Capital Markets audit experience desired, as well as credit review or analysis experience. 

SKILLS: Strong PC skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes, etc.). A 
self-starter with strong analytical, interpersonal & communications 
skills. Strong written and verbal skills. Ability to work effectively, with focus on client satisfaction. A strong team player. 

Travel up to 10% to Canada, Brazil, London, Hong Kong, and the West 
Coast, may be necessary.
