Reduce lead time through ‘Right 1st Time’ processes. Engineering organization that provides the best product/technical solutions to customers. Provides competitive advantage through operational efficiencies and technical know how. Continuously drives down engineering cost. Ensures compliance with customer specs and policies. Ensures alignment with policies and standards. Continuously improves organization competencies. Ensures personnel growth, improves quality of services. Leads, motivates people with clearly defined strategies, objectives and targets. Plans and manages his department’s operational budget. Provides accurate and competitive project plans. Delivers projects to quality, time and cost plans. Active in securely new business by supporting the Sales organization. Recovery of engineering service costs. Management of the Electronics Passive Safety Platform Engineering organization within the regions covered by the Tech Center. Provision of engineering proposals as part of the CQA process. Interface with Core Engineering, Sales organization and plants worldwide. Contributes to the development of new products. Identifies, defines and approves projects and priorities within agreed budgets. Acts as a technical advisor. Manages engineering projects and interfaces with Program Management. Proposes and carries out cost reduction programs. Ensures compliance with customer specs and policies through the use of policies and procedures including APQP, GDP and QS 9000. Ensures the best engineering practices are in place. Conducts departmental meetings. Provides monthly reports to the Engineering Director. Active member of the Electronics engineering management team.

Description:    • 2+ years experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or user experience professional (or similar role). Experience working in a consulting firm environment is preferred. 
• Demonstrated ability in leading user persona interviews and creating user clusters. 
• Demonstrated ability to produce meaningful and effective design artifacts for complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems 
• Proficiency in a variety of design prototyping tools such as Axure, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, Adobe CS 
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills 

Responsible for developing interaction and information architecture deliverables (such as, site maps, user scenarios, wireframes, mental models, personas, interaction specifications and prototypes) for a variety of user interfaces including web sites, mobile applications, kiosks and business tools. Will also be responsible for conducting user research activities including user interviews and observation, ideation sessions, usability studies and other user research techniques to inform user-centered insights for final deliverables. 

Requires a solid understanding of user-centered design processes and interaction design principles will be crucial to the User Experience Designer's success. Work closely with product owners and application architects to design effective solutions.
