Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise 3 developers
• Take ownership of development efforts from initiation, through implementation, QA testing and deployment into Production.
• Work closely with the team's Technical Lead and coordinate joint efforts with regional Development leads in Europe and Asia.
• Interact with numerous functional units in the Business ranging from trading to finance as well as many peer development teams in the IT.
• Work together with Project Management and Production Support groups and participate in 2nd level support on a rotational basis.

Job Requirements:
• Significant demonstrated experience building multi-threaded server-side applications in C++ on Linux
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Knowledge of C++ Standard Template Library
• Strong debugging skills, ability to work within established mature code bases
• Familiarity with scripting languages, preferably some experience with Perl or Python
• Excellent communication skills in English: both spoken and written
• Absence of set technology preferences: must be willing to learn and apply new technologies which are best suited for specific tasks
• Team player mentality
• Focus on delivering business results
• Sense of urgency and effectiveness in pressure conditions

Need someone on a W-2 only

Person responsible for all major testing activities within the project life-cycle.
The primary deliverables include:
Test case definition, requirements traceability matrix (RTM), system test execution, and support of end-user acceptance testing.


Skill: Mid-level (7 yrs)
Pior test analyst experience is an obvious must.
Being able to test both client-server and mainframe based applications
Experience with ClearQuest, Rational Robot or other similar automated QA based testing tools is required.

Freddie Mac experience is desirable which includes being familiar with our SDLC and AMCP methodologies.

Life Reinsurance Business Analyst - (US-NY-New York)

This position processes assumed and retro statements and inforce data in SGL systems such as LIRAS, Omega, and TAI for specified assumed and/or retrocession clients. The position works closely with the Data Acquisition team to assist in client data mappings on assigned companies and acts as liaison with client company to ensure proper data administration.
Description
• Log, track, and record financial and statistical data from assumed clients into Omega.
• Log, track, and record summary retro billing data produced by LIRAS and/or other systems (TAI, Sylvie) into Omega.
• Review retrocession data produced by internal systems for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile monthly/quarterly inforce data against policy exhibit(statistics) reports received from clients.
• Develop peer to peer relationships with client companies to assist in resolving questions and setting up new business.
• Work with treaty, claims, underwriting, finance, and actuarial departments as needed to resolve administrative issues.
• Assist in external audits as necessary and perform internal administrative desk audits as instructed.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Life Reinsurance industry required.
• Prior experience developing data maps of client transaction and inforce data a plus.
• Expert proficiency in MS Access and Excel required.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Successful completion of LOMA classes towards ARA (Associate, Reinsurance Administration) preferred.
