Technology Operations Process Engineer
NY - New York City

Position Description
The Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and documenting
requirements for new and existing infrastructure products and processes
that are used by the client.

The initial focus will be analyzing the service delivery processes used
by infrastructure and application groups in order to streamline and
improve service delivery, for example New Hire, Server provisioning and
Remedy escalation processes.

This will require hands-on analysis work, relationship building within
the infrastructure organization, and identification, managing
communications and training. The position will liaise between the
business units, the development team and the infrastructure technology
groups.

The responsibilities include:
detailed process analysis, written specifications and user interface
design - to the coordination of testing, training and implementation.
The candidate must have strong analytical, project management and
communication skills given the nature of this role.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE
*Bachelors degree with at least 3 to 5 years experience working with
business units to gather and define application requirements for new and
existing technology applications in the financial services industry
*Experience in developing formal documentation including specifications
and training materials
*Strong project management experience and knowledge of infrastructure
operations
*Excellent business communication skills, including written, verbal and
presentation skills
*Experience outlining and analyzing complex business requirements
*Successful record of managing technology projects within cost and time
estimates
*Ability to build and manage relationships with operations management
and key stakeholders
*Background in strategy/management consulting, business process
re-engineering, general technology project management
*Business Process Modeling, Development of Functional Specifications,
Flowcharts and Diagrams
*Perform business and data analysis and write business specifications
*Knowledge of Excel and Access, proficient in Visio, and Project.

Note: This role is defined as a Business Process Reengineer
opportunity. The ideal candidate will be prioritizing needs and studying
workflow incorportation across all of Infrastructure, and they will be
working closely with development teams.
